Have been to this small restaurant many times. It's exactly like what you would go to in Kyoto. A hidden gem. The chef is really from Kyoto. Small and cozy place given the location not centrally located, hence, many have missed this gem.The Sashimi is good and fresh. On sashimi and sushi , Taking the chef recommendation is the best.. We never get over-charged. I never get disappointed. some Kaseiki dishes are really good. The udon dish both cold or hot are excellent. I m impressed with the appetizers that comes along with the meals, every small dish is intrincically prepared.

睇到OpenRice D 食评,今曰特登同个日本朋友嚟试吓。首先order咗鱼生同寿司:1) 加洲卷(裹面得蟹柳(雪藏)同牛油果,饭既软硬度适中,可惜太多沙律酱)2) 什锦寿司(无什特出,回转寿司店货色,海胆仲有d苦,唔新鲜)3) 鉄火卷(亦是一般)之后再order:4) 锅仔乌冬(好味!够热又足料,面身好好,唔会太啉太粉)5) 牛油露荀(系我so far 喺香港日本料理食过最好既露荀,鲜甜带香,好味好味)本人觉得以当晚既食物质数嚟讲,价钱是贵咗D。HOSO 人手唔多,但服务殷勤有礼,值得一赞。

早几日在<黑麦>饮咖啡,忽然见到揾食兄,他告诉我们,说刚食完这间店,味道几好,乌冬也很好吃;我们商量完之后,便决定晚上来试试。我们因为比较饱,没有食什么东西,只叫了盐烧鲭鱼、烧三文鱼茶渍饭和天妇罗乌冬。盐烧鲭鱼- 烧得好香,鱼肉也很新鲜,但就比较上细了少少。烧三文鱼茶渍饭- 烧三文鱼比想象中少,味道还算不错,茶渍饭加上一粒粒的米通,口感都几好;但如不是比较饱,一定唔够食,因都几细碗。天妇罗乌冬- 乌冬几滑口,唔会好腍,味道都算唔错,但和之前食的稻亭乌冬相比,就相差得远了;虾天妇罗味道唔多新鲜,没有虾味,虽然炸得好脆,但用唔多新鲜的虾来做天妇罗,实在有点可惜。没有试到刺身,但看到附近人食的刺身,好像都几好,下次再试试吧!

11-10-2005 1330点解这间店铺开左成年都冇人写过食评呢?要食好野,不是下下有人介绍这么好彩,而是要自己揾、试及肯行出来,先至会份外珍惜及深刻。重阳节同大家姐一齐行山,之后去食野,本来想去厨师,佢话好耐冇帮衬这里,系唔系真系好咁架,不论如何,厨师留番下半场。一入到去,客人不多,咁我家姐就问老板娘有没冇秋刀鱼,佢话有,跟住急不及待order一客。另外我帮家姐order冷乌冬定食及飞鱼刺身。秋刀鱼刺身共有八片(最顶的图),底部有萝卜丝及紫酥叶,附上的washabi,系自己磨,因为程现有少少粗粒及不出水,我当然要食主角,果然正,有鲜味及没有腥味,兼不会觉得好似食三文鱼食到这么肥腻,不过食到有条骨及鳞,可能是太细条,有点难度,真系要改善一下。据老板娘说食秋刀鱼刺身最佳时候是10月至11月中,在这期间是最肥美,一客只是85蚊,价钱合理。其他时间唔系咁得,要食既话,趁快啦。至于飞鱼刺身比较清淡,似食紧吞拿鱼,不过清有清食,浓有浓食,与秋刀鱼刺身一样价钱,有鲜味但冇腥味,我个人认为都可以一试。冷乌冬定食都有惊喜,前菜系鱼面、腐竹及珍珠蚝,清清地食得过;至于手卷有两款,分别系蟹籽及甜菜,蟹籽里面有牛油果及蟹柳,而甜菜里都有玉子豆腐,至于主角乌冬,虽则系日本空到港,但都几烟un,还有甜品奉上:黑嘉伦子sobert,唔太甜,个酱都系偏淡,应该唔系本地既,refresh阁下舌头最徍良品。冷乌冬都只系38蚊,其他定食最贵都系48蚊,如果阁下系附近返工,这埋绝对食得过。这餐加埋208蚊,加埋一就系228.8,几好意头。另外,他们夜晚有个Chef’s Recommendation,每位190蚊,共有九道菜(前、主及甜),系唔会话你知有乜食,要因货源及时节而定,有机会一定要试。老版娘个样都几cool,不过又几好倾呢!
