招牌菜
这家餐厅原在中环和记大厦地下,地方颇大,定食很正宗,后来搬到这里,搅起西日 fusion,和原先格调很不一样。现在好像只有两夫妇经营,丈夫是厨师,妻子是侍应。主餐牌,set lunch 约 100 多元,以日本人师傅来说算抵食了。附上的麦茶麦味好浓。我点了咖哩猪肉定食,包沙律、三款前菜,汤及主食。沙律荫上日式沙律汁,甜甜酸酸的,菜有两三款,均很新鲜。其中一款前菜是青瓜,脆脆的,咬下去很清新,另一款红色的我不知是什么,但一样是脆脆酸酸的。最后一款是黑色的,原以为有点苦,但吃下去原来是超甜的。咖哩汁是日式,完全不辣,且带有甜味。猪肉煮得好'林'身,饭用日本米煮,圆圆饱满的非常美味。最后还有一杯咖啡,咖啡本身很苦涩,但随送的奶超香滑,非常好饮!环顾整个餐厅都是日本人,像是到了日本的感觉。

Friend and I had satisfying lunch at Hals in CWB last Thursday. Booked beforehand & were shown to a table immediately on arrival, no need to wait around as was common in Hals' Hutchison House days. Restaurant not v busy so atmosphere was peaceful & quiet, nice to be able to chat without raising our voices. 5 minutes walk from CWB MTR, don't be put off by it being on Tang Lung Street. Numerous sets to choose from. Friend enjoyed her curry pork chop set; decent sized crispy juicy pork chop in generous helping of yummy curry sauce w rice. My teriyaki hamburger set was good - moist meat patty in a nicely flavoured sauce. Sets came w pickles, a fresh salad, rice & coffee. Coffee was very very nice! Service was attentive with frequent refills of tea. Each set was $120. One negative is that the open kitchen does leave you bit smelly, perhaps one can ask for a table further away from the kitchen. We will be going back!

12点去到餐厅,除了我们,有另外一台日本OL女士们。唔需要等位。汉堡扒的豉油酸酸的,好开胃!温泉蛋煮半熟,蛋黄刚刚熟,蛋白像布丁一样-赞!听说这间餐厅是真正的日本人开的!可以放心吃原汁原味的日本料理。

当烦恼紧去边度同好友庆祝生日之际,得到日本同事介绍呢间新开嘅和风洋食餐厅,所以就BOOK黎试下新野。(注:后来先知原来HAL'S旧舖系中环,听我日本朋友讲早几年有次木村拓哉黎香港做野时帮衬过旧中环店架~) 餐厅唔系好大,大约一半满,大部份都系衣著斯文嘅日本人。环境唔嘈,岩晒我地人少少倾下计食下饭。而且我好钟意佢个OPEN KITCHEN,因为可以顺便欣赏下大厨煮野过程~由于系和风洋食,所以餐牌除左有日式刺身,天妇罗之外,亦有好多FUSION菜。我地心多多想试多几样,所以无叫SET,4个人叫A LA CART share食。温泉蛋沙律 牛油果拌八爪鱼日式炸豆腐刺身拼盘(细)- 虽然只系叫左细拼盘,不过份量都好足,仲有有海胆添~ 大根鹅肝(大根=萝卜)-极力推介呢个fusion dish** 萝卜吸收晒鹅肝嘅精华,配上一个好香好好味嘅汁(甜甜地,我估当中有甜面豉)呢个好味到我地encore再叫一份!PIZZA风烧茄子﹣ 几得意,未试过咁食茄子,原来配PIZZA酱同芝士一齐烧都几好食~ 薄烧牛肉﹣ 太心急食左先知唔记得影相当日的Chef's Special~左边嘅炸物系Croquette,里面有cream同海鲜配料;右面系bacon包住带子。两款都好香口,几好食~ 炖牛肉(beef stew)﹣ 另一推介** 个汁好浓郁好有层次,我谂要用好多好多材料再"拗"好耐先有呢个味道!炖到好冧嘅牛肉,配菜嘅薯仔同红萝卜全部都系入口即溶,超正!!净系呢个可以𩠌到好多碗白饭!日式奄列饭﹣当然我地无叫白饭,而系点左呢个奄列饭,同样嘅浓汁配上奄列同鸡肉茄汁饭,都好好味! Dessert Platter~很喜欢因为一次过可以满足几个愿望。个人特别钟意Apple Pie及Chocolate cake - Apple Pie系新鲜刚焗好的,而Chocolate cake加入了橙酒,是我很喜欢的味道~其实好多大餐厅嘅大厨都已经好少亲自落手落脚煮,所以好喜欢呢种类似Private Kitchen嘅楼上餐厅,因为可以感受到大厨嘅诚意同真功夫。喺呢度真系成晚睇住日本大厨一个人表演,由头煮到尾,赞!虽然得佢一个人,好彩上菜速度都算OK,无话要等好耐~ 我地四个人都好满意呢餐充满诚意嘅晚饭,希望佢地keep住,下次再黎嘅时候仍然有呢个水准啦~
