We’d looked forward to have a family meal here and it was very disappointing. Food - Our lamb curry and butter chicken tasted heavy with lots of oil (not butter) and it was blend without much spices. Potato was missing in our portion of masala dosa. Drinks - Shirley temple was just sprite w a tiny drop of grenadine for a pale pink colour. We asked for little ice and was still filled with 1:4 to 1/3 of ice. Gunner was good though.Service: Except for the guy who greeted us at the door, and on

Service: Except for the guy who greeted us at the door, and one of the girl who dressed in black and busy bringing food from the kitchen to tables/ door (lots of take-away orders) - who have the manners and professional sense of restaurant service - sadly the remaining staff were not serving at all. We don’t generally rush for service…After placing our order for 30 mins, our naan came, for another 25 mins, nothing else came and we asked about our order and they said the order wasn’t placed. There was no apology, no facial expression, and never mind about anyone coming to make things right. The staff just said “2 mins”. It feel more like a 80 hkd per person restaurant..
To be fair, the restaurant was seriously under staff, those who were there were either too busy to do their job well (manager sweat through his shirt and was cleaning table, mopping floor from a spill, taking orders, rushing kitchen - he was working non stop etc.), some other staff were like soulless bodies coming to the table to take ghost order that never came.
Honestly, it’s not the staff’s fault, the owner has to set things right. Not fair for the staff to do so much work with so little ppl, or they should take less order so not to seriously compromise on quality.
