I've been wanting to secure a presentable french bistro with good food for hanging out. I think I've found the place.  We ordered oysters, beef tartare, foie gras, seared scallop with truffles, fries and  escargot. I didn't used to like French food but I think I am starting to enjoy it. I found that the entire experience was better than our visit at Jean May. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and vibe. Don't come in a big party, any more than 2-3 would be too crowded.

I have heard good things about this place. I was glad when my friend suggested to have lunch here.The lunch menu is simple so it was easy to choose! I ordered the egg with mayonnaise and herring caviar for starter. It was delicious! For main course, I ordered duck confit which was flavorful. Both courses were kinda sinful 😅My friend ordered the prawn cocktail and grilled fish fillet. The healthier options 😁Food was simple but good!

Food is is ok, but service can be improved.1. When I arrived the waitress asked me to scan the "QR code" from the wall( this is normal and she was just doing her job, which I totally understand). I asked her if there is the possibility to leave my contact details on paper, the waitress said only the option of the app is available. One of the best french bistros in town! 聽聞呢間法國餐廳好出色，想食好耐。其實佢唔算難book，基本上星期五比較難book之外Weekday其他日子都OK！我星期二book咗八點但係七點三就已經到咗，諗住搏一搏有冇人取消我可以早啲到，點知佢真係full house,我哋揀咗坐最埋邊嘅吧枱，其實除咗最埋便嘅吧枱之外其他吧枱位都坐得唔係幾舒服。Menu大部份都係法文有啲英文解釋，其實我睇完都唔知道係咩嚟，所以我索性開佢哋個Instagram然後指住啲菜嚟嗌。叫咗個牛骨髓，兩個人食嚟講已經好大份，因為真係好肥膩、好油、我夾埋啲麵包食已經食到好飽。跟住嚟咗個焗螺肉，啲汁好好味，個螺肉焗得有少少濃所以都好香，啲汁送埋麵包又係一流。以為淨係嗌咗兩個前菜，一個主菜會唔夠飽，點知個主菜係個煎鵝肝加牛肉又係好膩一碟菜。佢嘅伴菜有焗香咗嘅栗子好好味，好有驚喜嘅伴菜，應該話佢係啲細節位都有擺心機。個薯條冇乜特別純粹係鍾意食薯條呢個係熱情果cream brûlée, 佢係偏酸特別又滑身。可以平衡返之前幾碟餸嘅油膩感， $88來講我覺得價錢非常合理。我一食完第一次就已經book定七月尾再食多次，因為有太多野想試但係太飽唔可以一次過試唔到咁多。

Bouillon經常聽到朋友推介這間在上環的法國餐廳但是因為平時Booking都比較full最終今次第一次光臨果然沒有令我失望。食物質素，環境衛生也是絕頂基本上都諗唔到唔好的地方

第一次同老婆仔去上環依一間法國餐廳食lunch，好彩佢預先有訂位,一去到就可馬上入座。依間位於荷里活道的法國餐廳，只容納到大約30位左右，裝潢亦簡單整潔，餐牌就只有英文同法文。我地俾安排坐在吧頭，坐吧頭嘅樂趣就係可以一路食一路睇廚師整野。我哋就叫左兩個lunch set，前菜係ouef mayo &caviar ，一口魔鬼蛋加濃郁的蛋黃醬配上魚子醬，簡單而清新口感。Terrine de foie gras，自家製鵝肝醬加上新鮮紅莓jam配上麵包，一絕。主菜就有beef tartar ，法國傳統菜之一，味道層次豐富的生牛肉，值得一試。Lamb confit &mash potato ,油浸羊肉配上薯茸，會有少少羊騷味，喜歡食羊嘅會較易接受。最後，我地叫左個芝士拼盤同埋dessert of the day, passion fruit cream burlee,係幾有驚喜的，香滑焦糖燉蛋加埋熱情果的芬香，做結尾係最好的。整體黎講，依間法國菜係可以回頭，但就係嘈左啲。。。

今餐係我今年第二餐既生日飯～總括而言，這家法國餐館做到法國傳統味道（同我係巴黎公幹時食到既味道差不多），亦做到法國侍應對華人既傲慢態度😅，但沒有法國人對serve客人/菜式果種講究。先講食物！《餐前/伴餐面包》- 少少凍，外面硬內不軟，低於正常法國餐館水平。- 順帶一提，其實法國人對面包係幾重視，因為無論早/午/晚餐，佢地每碟食物，出於對廚師專重，好多時「汁都撈埋」咁，會用面包「瀨」乾淨成個碟。所以面包一般質素唔會太差。《白酒-Chardonnay》- 正常水準，百幾蚊杯就有d over-priced，同平時Taste買到百幾蚊一枝既Chardonnay差唔多。- 本身叫侍應講下，話想是但飲杯白酒伴餐，問有冇House White，佢話冇。咁再問有冇推介，他指住個板叫我自己揀。我再問成個板冇咩推介，佢竟然講杯Moscato。。。- 我之後無奈地叫佢比杯Chardonnay我算。。《生牛肉他他》- 一個字「正」。- 完全法國傳統口味，當中洋蔥、醋、牛肉香甜、蔥、蛋香，完全perfectly matched!- 評分：9.5/10《生蠔拼盤》- 不錯，全部新鮮，有蠔味，海水味，一點都唔腥！

Its a short trip back to Paris 🇫🇷 The decoration of the restaurant was jus like any bistro that you could find in Paris!! I have made reservations 2 weeks ahead and I could not believe they offered a bar table instead of a proper table for dinner. Anyhow, they managed to give us a table after we requested. 星期五超多人去食午餐，座無虛席。午餐餐牌略加了小小價錢，$228 (前菜加主菜）。我們特意選擇三個不同的菜式來試。首先試了魚子配雞蛋，好淸新，超多mayo醬。跟住我們試了來白Britanny的法國生蠔，好新鮮，帶有濃郁的海水味。我們繼續試試檸汁醃魚生，魚生都新鮮，汁沒有南美洲的酸，但十分清新，食到爽脆的青蘋果絲，還以為是青芒果。這個terrine de fois gras 勁多酒味，十分濃郁的酒after taste. 主菜我們叫了beef tartare同煮牛肉來分享。Beef tartare好新鮮，有水準。反而煮牛肉就比較韌，如果佢塊牛肉可以霖些就好了。甜品Dessert of today,我們選擇了Creme brulee來試，食完十分飽。
