店舖的外表特别,吸引我订位一试!原来店内环境很整洁朴实,绝不像外墙那样花巧~而面积亦比想像中细小,坐位只有约十六个!坐下来,店主说他们是没有餐牌的,他邀请我们到柜台前挑选,他将今天有的菜式各弄一个sample, 放好在玻璃柜里,让客人可看到并直接order!店主非常友善好客,由于我们不太懂中东菜,他乐意为我们逐一介绍要了数款前菜/小吃,有炸芝麻球、酥皮菜饼、肉丸子等,最特别是有很多款不同的酱,各用不同材料制成,我们试了两款:芝士酱和鹰咀豆酱,配合即制的中东薄饼,风味特别!主菜反而没前菜精彩,大部份给我的印象都是茄酱制成的,味道大同小异。值得推荐的是串烧,可选鸡、牛or羊,与蔬菜一同串起,好看也好吃,且肉汁很多!甜品也很是特别,像有果仁口感混和的馅料,味道很好,但却极甜!以特式异国菜来说,价钱一点不算贵!像中东薄饼,一个只是三元正而已!注意:这里order菜式大部份是以每100g.计,所以份量要自己衡量啊!

Went with a friend on a Tuesday night, there was only a couple sitting on the terrace outside the restaurant drinking, and only us two inside having dinner. Wonder how they survive the rent... hope business is better on weekends.For appetizers we ordered:- Falafel: lightly seasoned, 4 pieces with salad, has a nice sauce to compliment it, not dry with rock hard skin like most of the ones i try in hk- Babaghanoush: comes with 3 flavours of pita bread that was piping hot, not oily or too salty- Grilled cheese with salad: forgot the name of the dish, but the cheese didn't have much flavour, and the texture was like bean curdFor mains:- Grilled Shish Tawook: tender chicken on half a piece of toasted some sort of bread, looks and tastes great- Lamb kebab: meat a bit tough, needed some serious chewing, but at least there weren't any "jar" and didn't taste "so"coffee came in a little pot that the waitress poured into a little cup, it was thick and looked like melted chocolate, but it was seasoned with spice and a tad too sweet for me, and there were lots of grainy sediments, which i presume are edible if you really wanted to eat it...the restaurant isn't big, but at least the tables weren't cramped together, the decor was nice, the place was clean, the service attentive and efficient.

2007年4月19日,2友生日,我提议去Bazaar庆祝。后来其中一人打电话订10位,但负责人说人数多要亲身去交“deposit”,由于地方隐蔽,负责人说可以到地铁pick up我的朋友。但这样太麻烦,本来改去其他地方,但另一朋友说最近到过Bazaar搞25人party觉得不错,又便宜,所以说她会打电话去跟老板谈谈,最后都不用付deposit。一去到,我们都知道为什么要付订金,因为地方真的很小。我们十人坐的长,两旁只可以坐8人,头尾再坐两人,真的很迫逼,后来要求才再加一张给我们。除了我们,餐厅只可再多容纳10人。即共坐20人左右。25人Party?实在要走出餐厅吧!还有,因为铺子小,厨房很近,油烟也很厉害,食完成身一阵味。所以去的话要有心理准备。1.头盘–全部都细细碟,一个约30-35元。-Pickles (green olives): 都几好食㖞!-Babaghanoush: 矮瓜蓉加柠檬、蒜、中东芝酱Tahini做成,都几好味。-Lamb Kofta: 是榄状的lamb kebab,混有洋葱、番茜、香料等,配是番茄sauce。我唔钟意食羊肉丸,所以不太喜欢。-Fatoush: 是沙律,其实可以唔使叫,因为主菜里面有的。有生菜、青瓜、洋葱、radish。跟中东的圆面包(Pita),D包烤得几靓,几特别。2.主菜:45-75元,我们叫的全部是70元以上的。-Shish Kebab –是牛肉串,但偏干,不算很好吃。-Grilled Shish Tawook –是烧鸡串配中东芝酱(所有主菜都用呢个酱架啦)D鸡几香口。好食!-Samak bil Dukkah –这个菜是鱼,鱼面铺满了果仁再拿去焗。鱼的portion 比相像中小,很香口,没什么鱼味。但也算很特别的菜。-当日的厨师推介有2个,一个是Lamb Shank –几抵食。好好腍。-另外一个是有糯米stuffing鸡,比烧鸡串软滑,但没有它的香。配菜可以跟饭、沙律、菠菜(spinach)、秋葵(Okra),我们都选饭或者spinach, 但每个主菜里不知为什么还有沙律。那个spinach是另外放在一个小碗的,很咸,不好吃。3.甜品:只有3个选择,20-25元。-一个叫Halva,是用芝酱加蜜糖、糖浆做成长方条状,好像也加了杏仁味,但很甜。-一个叫konoffa,一客只有一小块,卖相像潮洲的糖醋面,但是椰子味的,好甜。-另外有Turkish Delight,是中东常常吃到的软糖,又系好甜。-还有Baklava,是焗酥皮饼。因友人生日,做了成个圆型生日饼。OK甜。饮品方面,我要了一个埃及咖啡($20),本身已经加了甜,也没有cream和奶,杯底的渣滓要留下来,不要喝。

上个星期六我与朋友一共四人去了这间新的餐厅吃晚饭,店子小小,有个开放式厨房,卖的是中东菜,看过餐牌后发觉食物相当化算,一点也不贵,头盘大约$30-$80,主菜也不过是$70-$80。我们每人叫了饮品、Mezz拼盘及Hanomie沙律做头盘,那个Mezz拼盘很丰富,有炸豆饼、有几种不同的dip、有蔬菜、有羊肉等,还有不同种类的pita bread,沙律也很清新好味。至于主菜我们叫了羊肉kebab,羊肉锅跟okra及鸡肉锅跟菠菜,全部跟沙律或饭,portion很适中味道出奇地好。我们亦叫了三种甜品,有Turkish delight (homemade)从来也未试过这种Turkish delight,口感很特别,有玫瑰、云喱拿及薄荷味,另外甜品有pastry的、有椰丝酥两款也不错,最后还叫了mint tea及咖啡。此店是不收加一服务费的,值得一讃的是那些侍应十分殷勤有礼,而老板兼大厨也非常之nice,结胀只不过是500多元,非常非常超值,而我们也很乐意多付小费,最后我们捧著满足的肚皮离开,这是一间绝对值得推介的餐厅,我们一定会再来光顾。
