I had bad experience there too. Limited staff serving even it's 'Full house' I have been waiting for 10-15 mins for them to clean the table everytime I finished 1 dish. And wait another 10 mins for next round.

When we gave our comment politely, and all we expected, is just comforting words like 'we will do better next time' or 'sorry'. Hoever, the waitress ( I believe she is the person in charge??!!) replied,' 咁你想我點丫?' We're really pissed off!!! We could forgive the food, the waiting time and everything, but with this attitude??? Come one!!

Food...so so...Can see that they try the best to present good food in nice decoration, but better kitchen operation might help the taste and timing?

I see a lot of ppl like Allez Allez very much, esp couples, and believe that more ppl will visit there after reading gd comments in openrice. I hope that the restaurant will improve and leave all customer a good experience. To me, well, I believe I held higher expectation before I stepped in. For that, it's my mistake.

Last Thursday, I was introduced by my friend to attend this restaurant. One of my friends said it was hight recommended by her friend. Another friend has seen the comments from this webpage and concluded that it's a good restaurant. 4 of us went to this restaurant with high expectations... however, it really really disappointed us.

Hard to say all the bad feelings in a very detailed fashion, would like to list it out point by point so that it's easier for our guys to read:

1. Booking & deposit: booking has to make at least 1 week advanced, I won't complain this point coz if the restaurant is popular, it's usual to have the long waiting list. Just that we need to transfer $800 (for 4 persons) in advance in order to confirm the booking?! It just contradicts with its popularity. It's so inconvenient and a little radiculous.

2. Environment: the decoration is just too "superficial". I can't feel any "high-class" feeling as the previous comments posted here. If you looked at the details more, you must agree with me the boss ia a niggard. They just cover all the cracks of the wall under the curtains, or cover the CD-player with a cloth on the floor etc. That's why they have to keep the dim environment all the time, otherwise it's quite horrible (you call this romantic?). And the toilet is just the original toilet in a at least 40-year-old buliding!! The bath-tub is still there, they just put some fake flowers floating inside the tub!!

3. Soup: the soups were only merely "not cold"-_- We have waited for more than 15 mins after the appetitizers, they served us the "not cold" soups.

4. sparkling wine: when I tried to order, the waitress asked me whether I'd like a glass/ bottle, indeed there's only one option -> bottle. The wine list is not long in pages as other restaurants, it's only less than 15 items on the A4 sheet, really think she should have better training. And guess what? This wine was served only AFTER the appetitiers & starters.When we wondered & asked them proactively, they said it's not chilled enough! They have only fridged the wine when we ordered, Come on...

5. Main course: the most important of all, I don't mind the above point 1&2 if the food could satisfy us. We have ordered: 2 rib-eyes, 1 pawn salad and 1 lamb chop for the main course. I must say they're not rib eyes at all but they're just SIRLOIN steaks. I'm not badmouthing this restaurant but frankly speaking, the so-called rib eyes and the lamb chops were "older than my grandma", not overcooked but the texture was too poor. I must say a steak set served by the Cafe de Coral in less than $50 will be better than these...

6. Dessert: I've ordered the molten chocolate cake, after we've waited till 10:15pm (we have arrived there at 7:15pm on the day), the cake I received was collapsed!! What's the quality control? No chocolate was running out. Super super dissatisfied...

7. Service: we have made the official complaints to the manager, but it's really disappointing about her attitude. After I have fed up and said I would write you the comments on the openrice. com if you didn't listen. She escaped out and turned into better attitude on the second time. But on the 2nd round of complaints, she still argued with us that the wine was served when the bread came (by her memory). I sweared we're not a gang of unreasonable people. Actually we have made the request to her colleague that we'd like to have the dinner faster coz one of my friends can't dine for a full 3 hr. But she replied, "sorry, can't help, it's full house today." Again, she better have more training on customer services.

Conclusion: don't expect to pay ~$500/ person but receive this kinda food quality and services. The mangaer expressed her appology finally and said she will free 2 of us the NEXT TIME when we came again... (guess she needs to learn more about customer services as well)

I would like to post these comments here as promised the manager coz I really wanna help this restaurant to improve & grow better ^_^.

For Mother's Day this year, we decided to go somewhere that is quiet and elegant.

Initially, they email us the menu, where each of us can decide which dish we want to order. We can also choose the number of courses we want to have for the dinner, which was good for Mum, as she was a small eater.

The best picks of the night were:
Baked Oyster with Bacon and Spinach
Foie Gras with Caramel Apple
Cream of Pumpkin Soup
Roasted Rack of Lamb with Garlic Gavy
Grilled U.S. Angus Beef Tenderloin
French Crème Brulee

The service was excellent, all the staff there were very helpful and polite. The place was very big, it has many private rooms for 2-4 people and we were given the whole dining room for 6 people to ourselves, which was what we were after - privacy. The decoration was very well done, it made a good atmosphere.

The pricing was a bit expensive, but for a warm family dinner with spacious room and privacy and good food, it was all worth it.

有食家話"洗手間"必看, 咁下一步就係走入洗手間啦, 嘩!!!! haha我都未見過同未諗過會有人把洗手間設計得咁仔細咁靚ga...可能我係女仔, so鐘意靚啦! I like it! 值得睇下! 我最鐘意大廳, 超豪華! >.<""""
價錢方面我就唔清楚因為係我朋友仔請我的!
今次慶祝生日既一餐, 真係好難忘呀! 食得飽, 睇得飽!幾好享受! \(^0^)/

我倆由開始寫食評，參加OR聚，一直到現在，不經不覺已18個月，這段日子，OR為我倆的相處增添了不少情趣，第400篇食評，我倆決定揀間靚裝美味的食店慶祝一番。見酒池肉林(Allez)的評價唔錯，加上好友Mr.鴨先生的大力推薦，便放膽一試。

Allez位於唐塿的3/F，樓梯算keep得乾淨，但路程頗長，行到脚仔軟。打開門，典雅的裝修令人眼前一亮，我們獲安排在一間private room，房內燭光處處，high table setting，宮廷式疏化和地氈，個人極為滿意。老闆亦趁空檔帶我們參觀一番，Allez佔地兩個單位，裝修佈置比很多酒店還靚及有心思，感覺有Gaddis的影子。

返回自己房間後，隨之奉上烘到又熱又脆的table bread，連一向不好麵包的男友亦讚口不絕；伴麵包的蕃茄salsa和蒜蓉牛油亦有水準，salsa微酸，牛油夠滑，是一個不錯的開始。我們點了$1288 for 2的情侶套餐，共有五道菜，份量驚人，正常食量的女孩子一定食唔哂，我們嘛？有阿P在，梗係碟碟清啦！

第一度菜：燒鵪鶉&帶子牛油果沙律
原隻鵪鶉肉質嫰滑如法國春雞，和伴碟的炒磨菇同吃口感和味道都不錯。牛油果沙律下了太多檸檬汁，酸了少許，帶子鮮甜，魚子醬味道不夠出，starters味道整體OK。

第二度菜：焗蠔&煎鵝肝
焗蠔是全晚最好吃的菜式，蠔身極大，口感不算太creamy，與面頭被焗至微焦的沙律醬同吃，酸味中和了極重的蠔味；蠔肉底下還有菠菜，難得不油膩。煎鵝肝沒蠔出色，鵝肝不夠厚，mixed berries醬汁太酸。

第三度菜：海龍皇湯&野雞清湯
海龍皇湯用了魚湯做base，清甜味濃，湯料超豐富，有中蝦、青口、蜆、魚肉，用料上乘，比我之前在Aspasia喝的好很多。野雞清湯相比下較遜，太濃味，味道似牛肉濃湯多過雞湯，我倆都感神奇。意大利雲吞皮滑，可惜芝士菠菜餡口感過粉。

第四度菜：燒羊架&焗龍蝦
燒羊架共有四條骨，要了medium，雖不鞋，但明顯過熟，伴碟的蕃茄釀意大利飯非常有心思，味道都唔錯。焗龍蝦是整頓飯的另一高潮，超大隻，正宗啖啖肉，塗在龍蝦表面的芝士磨菇白汁非常惹味，和龍蝦肉同吃，一流！

第五度菜：暖心朱古力蛋糕配雪糕(二人份)
朱古力蛋糕份量大，外層比坊間的香脆，導至內裡的朱古力漿杰了點。蛋糕甜度適中，配以香滑的vanilla雪糕和新鮮berries同吃，一點也不膩，水準雖及不上Peak Lookout，但整體上收貨。

埋單每位$710(連加一)，以環境、食物質素和份量來衡量就唔算貴，但以唐樓私房菜來說，就貴了點，但除了我倆點的這個情侶餐外，還有$298-$498的餐供選擇，豐儉由人。論食物、服務同環境，Allez確實唔錯，最正係有間私人private room，我哋由8pm食到12am都無人趕你走，是百分百的二人世界，這點是酒店和其他高級餐廳做不到的。

To: Editor有朋友剛剛去過呢間餐廳, 但對食物/收費/服務都有極負面評價, 我依家等緊佢寫食評post上黎... 但在此之前, 我地發現呢度既食評有d怪, 因為有大部份正面評價都係由"非會員"發出, 當然唔係"非會員"寫就唔可信, 只係, 蒲開openrice都好少發現有咁多"非會員"就特定一間食店寫食評, 所以或多或少都有d 懷疑.因為之前我就另一間食店既食評都提出過相同疑問, 而editor都好快check到係同一人寫既, 希望你地都check 一check.... thanks!

一間由舊式住宅改裝而成的私房菜館，內裡古典的裝修把舊樓的感覺蓋過了，再用花瓣，音樂及燭光造成一個浪漫的氣氛。如果訂了六道菜的雙人套餐，餐廳更會為人客預留一間私人房間，以供情侶到來享受。食物素質方面，本人只對那鮮蠔意大利蕃茄湯的鯹味嚇怕了外，其他的都十分滿意，尤其海鮮類的幾碟菜。服務上可以說是無可挑剔，當日我需要一些特別的安排給友人一些小玩，負責人都全力協助，值得加許，友人亦因此而感到高興。雖然單看價錢上好像貴了一點，但如果可以從一餐晚飯而得到一個美好的回憶，我想是值得的。此處有相片：http://www.fotop.net/fanshu/AllezAllez

I agree with agree with bestchoice. I've been there one year ago, and turned out to be very disappointed. Many comments mention that the quality of service and decoration is as good as 5 stars hotel - they must be kidding me!!!

The private room is just like "板間房" - exactly!

The food is okay. But still no match with 5 stars hotels. I can say Allez Allez is just another ordinary restaurant in HK.

I seldom leave comments because I dunno how to type chinese. But this time I choose to say something because I just wonder 3 things:

1. how come such a restaurant has such a high score? If the ppl have ever been to hotel restaurant with the same price, they must have said sth very different.......

2. how come so many good comments are so smiliar in style ??(if you read carefully, they're very similar in sentance/paragraph structure)

3. How come most of the ppl who leave their comments are "非會員"? the percentage is much much higher than the other "20大最高評分餐廳". Guys can take a look at 日本吉列專門店餐廳, Chesa 瑞樵閣& Sabatini, most of them are 會員.

I just wonder.

我絕對同意你既講法, 我大約一個月前去過, 我相信我同你係座同一間房, 感覺實在很差, 絕對沒有貴麗浪漫既感覺, 真係一間好普通既"板間房", 而且我同我男友都覺得食物很差, 真唔明點解有咁多人讚....咁樣既價錢, 絕對可以食到大酒店既野, 所以奉勸各位唔好冒險!

其實我見大家的comment咁好, 就諗住book番一日同男友慶祝, 因見大家話joyce電話傾的話, 態度多數唔好, 就用email, 但email我覺得都有點差例如我問佢, 為何網上menu同佢12月send俾我的不同(我book1月), 佢覆話1月menu未出, 要1月10前send俾我, 至1月3日, 我都未收到, 就再email問佢有冇updated one. 佢今次又覆話未出, 要before1月10日前email俾我, 仲用括號加多句"as i told you before" 我覺得用客的身份, 都係想幫襯你, 早d拎menu, 尤其係我問你拎1月menu, 你要1月10日前至email俾我, 已經好怪, 唔通你1月10日前唔用menu嗎?直至今日, 我都未收到佢話"as i told you before" 會係10號前會收到的menu因為佢的價錢唔平,但未book, 佢已經令我唔想幫襯了... 很抱歉沒有提供食評, 只寫了booking的感受

直至今日, 我都未收到佢話"as i told you before" 會係10號前會收到的menu

因為佢的價錢唔平,但未book, 佢已經令我唔想幫襯了...

很抱歉沒有提供食評, 只寫了booking的感受

生日那晚, 女朋友帶我到這裡慶祝, 實在很特別.入去第一個感覺係, 好浪漫, 好有情調.....入到房, 個感覺都好好. 環境不錯, 唯一係d裝飾/修有d破損, 影響左d氣氛.六道菜:食物方面, 青口- good, 如果再大隻d就更好鵝肝都好好, 田螺我最喜歡, 好夠味.牛柳其實唔錯, 不過太熟, 點5成, 卻有7成.個甜品都好味, happy birthday個字好特別.....最後joyce帶我地去其他房參觀, 其他都唔錯, 個toilet都ok.整體上感覺好好, at least值回票價....

生日那晚, 女朋友帶我到這裡慶祝, 實在很特別.

入去第一個感覺係, 好浪漫, 好有情調.....

入到房, 個感覺都好好. 環境不錯, 唯一係d裝飾/修有d破損, 影響左d氣氛.

六道菜:
食物方面, 青口- good, 如果再大隻d就更好
鵝肝都好好, 田螺我最喜歡, 好夠味.

牛柳其實唔錯, 不過太熟, 點5成, 卻有7成.

個甜品都好味, happy birthday個字好特別.....

最後joyce帶我地去其他房參觀, 其他都唔錯, 個toilet都ok.

整體上感覺好好, at least值回票價....

慶祝bf b-day, order 了一個6-course 的dinner, 有red wine/white wine揀, 雖然不是靚的酒, 但以整間private room 的氣氛黎講, 可以話不過不失

因為network 的問題所以send 唔到email, 只好留言, Joyce好快就回覆了, 態度很好

睇完其他人的comments後, 改一改原先的menu, 好快又收到Joyce 的confirmation. dinner 果日朝早先醒起想特別少少, send 了email 問Joyce 可唔可以加"Happy Birthday" o系個dessert 度, 哈哈~ 又好快收到confirmation.

dinner 果晚專人接上樓, 好nice. 上到去第一個feeling 系好warm, 好古色的decoration. Total 有5 間private room, 每一間都有唔同的特別, Joyce 為我地安排左一間可以for 4人的房, 個環境好好, decoration 好靚, 有心思的; 放碟, 食具等等的位置都好正統的... 感覺就好似去左一間高級的餐廳.

講下當日的meal:
Appetizers
原本想改好多人都話好食的局蠔, 但因為日本事件所以放棄
1) 白酒煮青口(比expected 的好)
2) 煙三文魚salad (expected)
3) 香煎法國鵝肝配蜜餞核(bf's)
4) 焗釀鮮蕃茄田螺(bf's, 我都有食, 味道很好)
Soup
1) 法式海皇湯(bf's)
2) 忌廉蟹肉露筍湯(真系似忌廉湯多, 蟹肉係長腳果d, 冇乜露筍味, 但都ok)
Sherbet
nth special, but taste gd
Main
1) 香草燒羊鞍(taste ok, 但d 肉唔太入味)
3) 燒牛仔柳(bf's; 冇下面的comment 咁差, 有牛柳味)
Dessert
1) 凍strawberry 梳乎厘(一般, but taste ok)
2) 軟心朱古力布甸(bf's; 特別請Joyce 加"happy birthday" 字眼, 我expect 只係用朱古力醬寫個字, 但點知, 出到黎的效果好靚, 見到d 字的design 係用心做的, 仲有埋candle, 好正)

Summary:
1) taste: 雖然有d 系普通, 但overall係ok 的
2) enivornment: 間間房唔同, 但個feel 都好靚, 連washroom 都decorate 得好靚
3) Service/Attitude: 好, Joyce 好nice, 客有咩要求佢都會盡量配合, 最後仲帶我地參觀環境同其他房, 仲講下佢的comment 同時又好歡迎客的comment 希望再做好d
4) Price: Acceptable

Went there for my boyfriend\\\'s b-day ytd. Chose the 488/person set.

Food: The appetizers are satisfactory, esp. the Escargot.
But the goose-liver is not particularly good.
The sherbet was tasty.
But the main-course were.... quite disappointing. The tenderloin was so-so. nothing special. So was the garoupa.
We like the desserts. They were truly good. We chose an apple tart and a filo pastry with mangoes.

Service: Unexpectedly good. (perhaps it\\\'s becoz I thought Joyce was unfriendly, but she turned out to be nice. Also the other staff.)
And there was a mistake that they prepared the main course wrongly -- we ordered garoupa and tenderloin... but eventually they made the fish, but and a dish of angel hair. But then they did well in the recovery that they changed it for us immediately. quite impressed.

Environment: budget decor. All the docorations used were in fact inexpensive. Dun expect really extravagant ones. But it turned out to be cozy and quite romantic. And I like the aroma of the place... like the smell of berries.
The privacy offered is what I appreciate most.

起Openirce 尋找到呢間餐廳，二十五號正日同女朋友都Allez Allez 食飯慶祝。首先，關於阿Joyce好似有好多不好的comments，但我覺得佢態度冇問題。我落deposit 時因為銀行問題遲左，佢都好有心幫手解決，關於menu 同點菜上亦相當helpful，同時我唔覺得佢係unhelpful。可能係電話聯絡的時問要避開繁忙時間。環境根本就一流，毋須多言。食物方面我只談主菜，因為其他都合乎女朋友和我的要求。我點左一個牛扒，一個鱈魚。牛扒叫六成，上來時係八成，不合格；牛肉本身亦唔得。但係鱈魚就一流，入口即溶而不油膩。同埋呢一餐由於係近於法國菜，所以係食左三個小時。貴就係貴，但係物有所值。

小妹今次第一次給評語, 其實之前都試過很多由此網頁給好評的餐廳, 好的是有, 名過其實的也有, 但今次實在忍不住要批評此餐廳了(縱然我打字很慢, 但都不想大家誤信此餐廳真的很candle dinner feel!!!)

首先是食物真是一般貨式, 那天是我男朋友的生日, 我order 了six menu courses, our comments are ok, but not value over than 1000 to pay for those courseS.不過食物lee 家野, 真係見人見至, 所以我不會詳列吃了什麼, 味道怎樣, 總之是西餐, 不難吃, 但不至於好吃環境方面, 真是給其他食評誤導了, 不要以為private room 就是那些很浪漫, 開揚, 有candle dinner feel, 亦不要誤給餐廳網頁的相片騙了, 小妹不排除真的有這些private room, 但小妹所享用的private room 實際不過是板間房, 只有一張台, 門旁有個茶几, 沒有窗, 有冷氣, 不過很焗, 整間房只有40-60尺而已.

joyce 只會承諾給你private room , 如你order six courses or couple menu, 但不會擔保private room 是怎樣, 網頁還提到有池景及園景, all the shut la!!!去酒店食好過!

服務方面, joyce 是有回覆email, 但給人感覺很唔休做, "你來就來, 不來就不來"!!! 所有waitress 都是一machine 咁, 普普通通, 100-200元的餐廳服務都是這樣, 最奇怪是有事便按鍾叫她們, 但那個按鍾是放在飾物盒中, 沒有waitress 跟你說過有這按鍾, 按鍾上亦沒有說明這是calling service. 重點是那天是我男友生日, 我聽說有些食評說他們會在甜品上洒上happy brithday 的可可粉, 但是我那天沒有, 最諷刺是洒上ALLEZ (此餐廳的名稱)..., 埋了單後沒有人理, 足足給了50元小費, 沒有人帶你參觀, 不過參唔參觀都罷了, 於是我們便自己開門走了.

吃此頓飯, 真是你付錢我也不希罕!!!!
各位讀者, 如你不信的話, 即管試試, 希望你會好彩過我, 但千萬不要挑你和你HONEY的大日子去啊!!!
