Decided to come here for an impromptu lunch on a Sunday and was glad to still get a table. As a Michelin ⭐️⭐️ Chinese restaurant, it had been on my bucket list for a long time. However, compared to other Michelin-starred Chinese restaurants I've been to, the quality here felt relatively average..The selection of dim sum was quite limited. We ordered a few to share. The selection of dim sum was quite limited. We ordered a few to share. The shrimp dumplings were generously packed with shrimp, but the skin was slightly too thick. The pork dumplings weren’t soft enough, and the meat was quite tough to chew. On the positive side, the barbecued pork buns were very tasty and lived up to Michelin standards. The wagyu beef puffs were another highlight. They were beautifully presented like a handbag, very crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. As for the rice flour rolls, I didn’t like the deep-fried style as they were overly greasy after having only three of them.

From the a la carte menu, we tried a few additional dishes. The crispy toothfish was delightful, bursting with flavour. However, the signature sautéed prawns were overly salty, which overpowered the natural shrimp taste. The fried noodles with pork were also heavily salted, it’s something I wouldn’t expect from a Michelin 2-star restaurant.
