we been to wakas mess many time but this time was my worst experience they are serving indian and african food together but indian food now trying not worth  ! when we enter chungking mansion at the entrance some boys give us vip card and told me that wakas mess management moved to block c 4floor now its called pm club but i did not believe that and we went to wakas mess the menu they are using the same so i guess i will definatelly get the good food and we order samosa chicken tandoori fish ma

We have been to wakas mess couple of times but we miss the food so we went there again for dinner this time we try chicken kroma , mutton curry with garlic naan and safron rice the food was great as usuall korma was so yummy  we finish it all with mutton curry also good fantastic garlic naan and safron rice we always get 10% discount without asking we are in love with wakas mess food and definatelly we will go again.

同朋友去尖沙咀行街，本來想一齊食印度菜，但系由於朋友屋企有事，未能配我一齊食，所以就自己一個人來食。雖然筆者過往亦聽聞過重慶大廈治安極差，經常發生打鬥事件，有時仲驚動警察。好彩，依家比以前好左好多。重慶大廈入面有好多印度菜館，粗略數過都最少10幾間。錦既然系來到，就一定要去試下正宗的印度咖喱。其實印度菜已經唔系第一次食，最常見的菜式都系離唔開咖喱，五香粉燒雞(chicken tikka)等食物。如果一間正宗的印度菜館，多數都唔會賣豬肉同牛肉，原因系印度受到穆斯林教義影響同埋印度人以牛為聖獸，所以唔食。以本人來講，如果我去印度菜館食飯我一定會睇下menu有無牛肉或豬肉，如果有的話我多數唔會幫襯，除非系好多好評。由於自得一個人的關係，只點左以一下食物咖喱羊肉($68)去印度菜館，一定唔可以唔點咖喱羊肉。正如去港式茶餐廳無可能唔點港式奶茶錦。羊肉肉質鮮嫩，而咖喱就用左花椒，青椒，辣椒，八角等食材去熬制。唯一美中不足的地方系咖喱略鹹。印度烤餅($15)食咖喱又點可以浪費D咖喱呢，所以我點左一份烤餅食，烤餅的餅底有D似平日用微波爐丁麵包果仲感覺，超正。服務方面上，侍應起我埋單食唔會當我點左燒咖喱

每次經過重慶大廈，都會有一班南亞裔或印巴裔人士集結在樓下，面對他們總有種望而生畏的感覺。 早聞重慶大廈的咖喱非常有名，於是本著「凡事總有第一次」的精神，和幾個朋友勇闖此地。 因為怕被人拉到某些不知名餐廳，所以先到openrice做一下research，恰巧發現華加士有優惠券又有網上訂座，所以就不再作他選了。在大廈門口我們表明要去哪間餐廳後就有人指示我們去乘電梯，過程沒有想象中驚險。 大概7時半到達了餐廳，裡面一個客人也沒有，心裡開始有點恐懼，幸而後來陸逐有其他客人來到，應該是我們太早了。 細讀餐牌後，我們在套餐和單點間選擇了單點。 落單後大家輪流去洗手，方便待會用手吃東西。食物送到時又呆了一下，份量和一般餐廳比較少很多很多。 平時外出用餐，5個女孩子叫5道菜應該會飽到不能再吃，而這裡的份量卻只有平時的一半(或更少)。先送上的是窩仔魚、咖喱雞和薯仔(原來的名字太難記，所以就從簡)。 三道菜之中以窩仔魚最為美味，魚的質地比較實，有點像鹹魚，口感頗佳。 咖喱的味道不算辣，香料味非常濃郁，或者這就是重慶大廈的賣點。 咖喱雞和薯仔的味道相比起來比較普通，如一心想試新口味，這兩道菜大概可以省略。

I have been to Wakas Mess a few times, and I have introduced it to my friends they all are contented to the nice foods there! Not only food, the waiter there is so nice he offers me a lot of modifications for my lunch!To be honest, the restaurant does not look really nice------but if you are scared off not to try this out just because of the environment, you will regret----the food here, especially paneer(spinach and cheese stew non spicy), fish curry, mango lassi and masala tea are freaking ama

My friend and I came to try this restaurant due to good reviews. We thought the dishes here would be great since they would be cooked by real Indians......how wrong we were😆!!  Prawns in the masala dish were tough n tasteless (We were sure they were frozen ones), steamed rice was coarse, yoghurt dip was watery and bland, iced rose tea and lime soda were too sweet and syrupy (the lime slices were actually lemon!!), and the decor looked dull and tired. 作為一個華僑在英國生活多年，好多人都認為我會對英國的食品情有獨鐘，其實非也。因為我是一個熱愛中國文化的人，當然，也熱愛中國的飲食文化，好自然，出城食飯，唐人街的中菜館永遠都是首選。至於英國本土的食品，在我的喜好 list 來說，真係有如英格蘭足球隊在 FIFA 的排名一樣，絕不會名列前茅。若要我列出我在英國最喜好的菜式三甲，1) 中國菜、2) 印度菜、3) 愛爾蘭菜。有一天，看過英國的一份報章做出一個調查，原來外國人最喜歡的亞洲食品，第一位是泰國菜、第二是印度菜、第三才食中國菜。先不評泰國，印度菜能夠大勝中國菜，主要原因是其所用的香料，每一道菜，每一份咖喱、燒烤，甚至是一卷卷的 Kebab，都是香口得非常，這一種香口感覺深受外國人的追捧，也深受我的愛戴。以前在英國，周不時都會約同友人，一起食咖喱。回到香港，我對咖喱的熱情是有增無減。而香港的咖喱餐廳集中地，也就是印巴人的集中地，就是一入去就有如身處異國的一個舊商場，重慶大廈。而是次我介紹的咖喱王，也是我大學時期，一名旅港巴籍室友極力推介的，多年前的一天，問他重慶邊間咖喱好食，Wakas Mess (我誤以為他說 What a mess)

i went to wakas mess on strength of thier open rice review to celebrates my best friend birthday we book the place one week before bec we want to try thier whole lamb leg cooked in tandoori oven and we try chicken tikka masala with paneer paratha cottage cheese with rice mango lassi etc the tandoori lamb leg was cooked very well they served us in very big plate with nice decoration of orange sliced. we like bit spicy and we ask them for bit spicy for the chicken tikka masala it was excellent eve

想食咖喱，自然諗起重慶大廈，睇食評華加士唔錯，試！去到地下，講出華加士，即有人帶路。餐廳以昏暗藍光為主，頗詭異。二人套餐$218，幾抵食，不過怕食唔哂，最後都係散叫。二人點了：咖喱什菜：咖喱味濃，帶甜不太辣，個汁用來送飯送薄餅幾正。Chicken Tikka：推介！雞肉夠腍，調味好，越食越辣，好刺激。Saffron炒飯：香料好正。薄餅：一般。要趁熱食。配咖喱汁好味。服務都幾好，侍應識廣東話。環境一般但乾淨。以食物水準計，係抵食。

I suffer from some food allergies which were always causing problem in my habit of eating out. 食物賣相差，味道差，態度差！叫左一份薄餅顏色已經係深啡色，同佢講佢就話d面粉係要煎到咁先熟，但食落去係苦的！收費個時服務差，就咁拎個放錢既兜黎就走左去，態度唔好！地方窄，枱同枱之間空位唔多。整體黎講，我真係絕對唔會試下次！
