I have been waiting for a dessert place in Wan Chai where I can enjoy Hong Kong style sweets after Moon Kee was closed years ago. The opening of Cong Sao definitely surprised me and satisified my need.I reckoned that it was under renovation two weeks ago and I was trying my luck tonight to see whether it has opened or not. Perhaps not that many eaters are aware of their presence in Wan Chai but I was truly delighted. It is very spacious with consistent design as in other stores.

They even have a large calligraphy by famous Hong Kong artist Andy Lau putting up as a deco.

Desipte the many items on their menu, I always pick my favourite "Longan Ice Sorbet with Sago". It arrives within 3 minutes and it is the same sorbet as in other Cong Sao. The sorbet is well blended with longan favour and you will not find it too watery or icy. The highlight is definitely the sago and coconut-favoured jelly on top which addes complexity and chewy texture to the dessert. This is the most refreshing Summer dessert but you can still have it 365 days as long as you like it as much as I do.

What a wonder addition in Wan Chai and wish Cong Sao can sustain well in this competitive marketplace.

题外话/补充资料: It only costs $30 in Wan Chai branch and seems like it is cheaper than I have in Causeway Bay. Soft opening now until 15 December and it will close at 00:30 by then.

最近灣仔新開左間糖水舖,佢係在坑口和銅鑼灣都好出名嘅「聰嫂甜品」。自從幾年前食過第一次之後就愛上左,佢個「龍眼冰」真係超好味!!!每次去都係食依款,冇試過其他XD不過其實佢其他糖水都好出色架,特別係榴槤及芒果製品:佢地話榴槤Pancake好出名,我地點左一客share,冇介紹錯,真係好好味,榴槤餡好新鮮好甜,肉同cream嘅比例啱啱好,個皮又好軟熟。因為太好味了,食完先發現唔記得影入面嘅相。因為冇得食龍眼冰,佢地話d冰未夠硬,所以試左佢地極度推介嘅「芒果奶昔雙皮奶」,估唔到又幾好味。上面d芒果好甜,中間係芒果奶昔打成嘅沙冰,下面係雙皮奶。原本仲驚會怪,但係出嚟味道又幾夾。榴槤水晶珠,口感似龍眼冰,都係沙冰狀,但依個真係「超.好.味」呀!!!!!鍾意食榴槤嘅人會好鍾意,以後除左龍眼冰又多個選擇喇^^紅豆味及綠茶味水晶包,個皮好煙韌,好似食到少少桂花味,不過好似甜左少少同事C點嘅「芒果柚子/荔枝果凍」,上面都有水晶珠,佢笑說話口感好似食緊三文魚籽店內位置唔多,略比銅鑼灣店小,卻寬敞一些因為同事C識朋友在文鼎做,所以我地有幸被邀請試食。正式開業日期為2015年12月14日,依段時間都係試業階
