After months of procrastination, Me and my friend finally made the step to actually book for afternoon tea at the Clipper Lounge, Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong. It did not disappoint our expectations at all.Tea Set for Two (HK$488+10% for two persons)Sandwiches-Because my friend was a vegetarian, we kindly asked the waiter to change some of the meat choices into the cucumber and egg salad sandwich. Because my friend was a vegetarian, we kindly asked the waiter to change some of the meat choices into the cucumber and egg salad sandwich. The sandwiches tasted fine and the cucumber was cut so thinly but it was still crispy.
Warm pastries-
The second tier were some warm pastries such as puff pastry and quiche, cheese bread.
The third tier were four different sweets: American cheesecake, cassis mousse cake, a chocolate hazelnut layered cake, and a coffee glazed finger puff pastry. In my opinion, I didn’t find the dessert that surprising but I liked the salty snacks more.
