Walked pass Quarry Bay and saw this bakery shop along the way, got attracted by the sourdough and pastry display and went in to have a look. The shop is much more spacious than expected, with plenty of seat-in area and also provide lunch food like pasta or sandwiches, the interior is kind of similar as “Sour Dough” in Wan Chai. 近期愛上酸種麵包，明知價格較高也去光顧。可惜，服務人手不足，兼顧不銷售及向客人解釋各種麵包做法，客不多但仍然要等很久仍未能落單，最後只好離去。感到可惜，卻只能說沒有緣份，不會再嘗試了！

個個都推介要試Levain 麵包，佢開左幾個月今次有機會試啦～佢係主打酸種麵包，款式琳瑯滿目，去到買嘅時候都唔知揀咩好。鰂魚涌店宜家都仲係話Soft Launch, 午餐menu 全部都係以sourdough 為主。佢地廚房都好大，睇到佢地整麵包嘅過程！今次叫左個Assorted Sourdough 同Mushroom and Pancetta Panini.Assorted Sourdough 佢會揀幾款唔同嘅sourdough 配上紅莓醬同牛油。佢嘅包軟熟得黎唔會太硬，容易入口，配埋牛油少少鹹味，可以中和少少sourdough 嘅酸味。不過佢嘅紅莓醬就無咁好，甜味有點似人造甜味，太甜，唔太配搭麵包。另外嘅Panini，即叫即整，上枱時芝士都可以拉絲，Panini仲烘到脆身又唔會太乾，超惹味，但可惜唔太食到Pancetta ，蘑菇份量都正常，食完都幾飽架！希望佢快d 正式營運，有更多嘅野食啦！

Sourdough is great! Coffee is not bad, but the choice of oat milk they use does not match with the coffee.Music too loud and gets irritating.A lot of fruit flies.

Baked goods are overall tasty and delightful. The one time I ordered coffee it turned out to be surprisingly good. The cashiers on the other hand always sound off-putting, impatient and annoyed, and sometimes miss items… so there’s never the impulse to grab something and go. Shopping at a bakery should be one of the most satisfying things in the world.

I ordered a sourdough toast set with caffe latte. Food is okay, but isn’t up to the reviews I saw online - the coffee beans tasted like to be roasted by an amateur coffee roaster. What irritates me the most was the overall shop management. Customers had to wait for a long time to order and get their food. Despite the long waiting time, the meal experience was not great since I constantly heard the manager yelling at the staff with foul language. Not recommended anyone to go there in general.

一直都知哩間新開張嘅cafe出名食新鮮發酵麵包（有種酸酸嘅味道）我選擇take a way 冇坐低嗌咖啡☕️有原隻出爐大包 唔同口味外脆內嫩，咬外面食加小小牙力。可以買一個或半個包，包埋切片。如果想大啖咬可以嗌佢哋厚切，或者薄切。另外有幾種口味嘅餅可以嗌。隔離櫃仲有包裝好嘅一口麵包同布朗尼。

多數人都鍾意食鬆軟嘅麵包，但大部分都添加防腐劑同人工酵母。酸種麵包相對比較健康，因為佢只係用麵粉、天然酵母、鹽和水做原料。 香港食酸種包嘅cafe唔多，Levain 喺Quarry Bay開左新店，我又剛剛經過附近所以試吓。新店面積頗大，坐得舒服，又有音樂同裝飾，都幾chill。我試左佢地main menu嘅 baguette w/ Parma ham n gruyere 同 mocha。麵包有成呎長，偏硬但脆嘅，由頭到尾都可以食到Parma ham同gruyere ，幾足料，賣相都幾給引。Mocha真係有驚喜，佢唔似出面一般cafe有靚靚嘅topping，但一飲就知佢係實而不華。一開始係濃濃嘅朱古力味，口感厚滑，隨之而來嘅係咖啡嘅少少酸味，層次豐富。老闆最後送咗我一碟蘋果，佢話配合麵包一齊食又會有另一種味道。我反而覺得飲完杯mocha食件蘋果，個味道幾特別幾fresh。櫥櫃有十多種麵包供選擇，花多眼亂。環境裝修好靚，好chill。
