Thanks to openrice map search once again we found another great place to eat that so close to home. We have now been to Haylong Bay 3 times in less than 2 months. What an awesome find!Don’t be put off but the tired looking computer mall you need to pass through to get to the restaurant (which by the way is a great place to also pick up cheap computer parts). When you get to your table you have a great people watching view of Queens Road and you’re away from the hustle and bustle of the street below. Food – They have an excellent selection of dishes, and we’ve been making our way through trying as much as we can. To highlight a few items… Their Pho is excellent, the soup base is very tasty, it’s full of noodles and plenty of beef. They give you chilli and lime on the side without asking. This dish is very filling, so be careful if you’re going to order side dishes to go with it. The two salads, pork neck and shredded chicken are both recommended, very tasty and a good amount of meat served in each. Soft shell crab rice rolls were good quality, the crab was still warm when served, yum. There is a chef special rice roll (not sure of the name) but it’s full of meat and noodles and is super yum. The san choy bau is yum. All the vegetable dishes we have tired are good, the broccoli with braised beef…amazing!Service – Always very efficient and friendly, similar to the experience you would receive in a local Hong Kong restaurant. Last time we were there they had run out of the vegetable we wanted, so they ran down to Welcome to get some more, now that’s service!Price – Simply great value for money, maybe they don’t have to charge the same prices as the street level places, but it’s surprisingly cheap for that area and the good quality food. You could easily eat a very cheap meal here if you stick to a set or only one dish, but we wanted to try everything so tend to get carried away.We’ll be back…many more times 继续阅读

偶尔会到夏龙湾吃个便饭. 今天埋头苦干到连午饭时间都错过, 眼见差不多二时, 干脆等一会到夏龙湾吃下午茶.不知是否物价上涨关系, 食品素质今非昔比. 一个越式虾酱炒饭, 虾酱的香除了侍应刚拿来时闻到, 吃下去就如一个普通炒饭, 入口有点'镬气'. 饭中配料更令人髲指, 除了必需的蛋,青葱和洋葱, 就只有一些无味的扎肉和'蟹柳'. 份量少不要紧, 况且是下午茶, 比午餐便宜十元且送热饮, 我也不能计较太多, 不过我给三十四元, 要他们用心一点也不算过份吧, 要不然, 我到7-eleven来个叮叮饭好了.唯独没变的, 是员工态度依然殷勤, 咸柑桔依然生津. 继续阅读

之前已经帮衬过这间越南餐馆好多次,因为觉得佢地d生牛肉河好正…点知每次黎到d质素越来越差…今次和我屋企人再去点知就出事啦!!一行六人叫了五碗生牛肉河,一碟虾膏炒饭,小食就叫左虾饼和香茅猪扒,我的屋企人吃这碗牛肉河就觉得有d怪怪..因为觉得佢地d生牛肉唔似牛肉以是猪肉片…但当我们询问侍应的时候,侍应尴尬回答是牛肉…至于佢地果个虾膏炒饭…少少虾膏的味道都无..我觉得似西炒饭多d啰!!!个虾饼和香茅猪扒就普普通通无咩特别,最后餐饮叫了一杯要补6元的椰汁红豆冰(味道超淡d豆又超硬超少) ,冻咸甘吉水和柚子茶不过不失 .总结 : 我最唔钟意系”将货就价” 其实我觉得做生意要对得人对得自己,如果d牛肉真系升得咁多咁咪加价啰…唔好搅到个招牌都衰埋..咁样值得吗? 现在影了两张相给您们看(因想大家清楚看到d肉所以放左去只碟)..这些好像是人造肉一样..一边似牛..一边似猪…都唔知会唔会吃死人!!!!所以我地已经列佢入黑名单,唔会再帮衬..!! 继续阅读

由台湾回香港,第一个欣赏音乐会是和我家姐一起到上环文娱中心观赏亢帅克 X The Three Think & 香港业余管弦乐团的演唱会.音乐会的开场时间是晚上8:00. 我和姐姐便在7:00到达了上环打算周围行行,睇下有什么餐厅吸引著我们.离远看见夏龙湾越南餐厅,这一刻便很想吃到捞檬,加上我刚去完台湾旅行,不想吃得太贵的晚饭,所以便选择了-夏龙湾越南餐厅.夏龙湾越南餐厅有很多set dinner选择,本人今晚特别想吃到捞檬,所以今晚我便拣选了G) 香茅猪肉捞檬.-$40晚饭来说,价钱真的不贵,一碗捞檬+热蜂柚子茶都是$40. 虽然价钱不贵,但这碗香茅猪肉捞檬真的很普通了. 讲真,捞檬太平凡,我不想说太多了,但这个猪肉便出了问题,因猪肉真的很硬,猪肉真的很少很硬的,虽然味道也算过得去的,不过猪肉硬,没有口感,真的不想继续食下去了.唉,早知选择鸡翼啦,不会"硬"也不会"韧",完全没有风险.就是这样,家姐也知道猪肉不好吃,怕我只吃捞檬会很乏味,所以也特别Order软壳蟹米纸卷一起share食. 当中,当然我吃得多一点啦!软壳蟹米纸卷-$33Menu写著软壳蟹米纸卷4件,但职员送上来的,总共有六件.虽然不知他是否给多我们两件,还是米纸卷的尾是不计算的. 但当中突然bonds地多了两件,真的觉得是意外的收获,另一收获就是软壳蟹米纸卷味道十分好食,米纸卷内里的配料味道很合拍,配料不会有其中一项突围而出的感觉,加上米纸包起,味道真的很fresh,很清新. 米纸卷的味道,真的和香茅猪肉捞檬相差很远.E) 虾头羔鲜虾汤檬-$45我这一个香茅猪肉捞檬Set dinner,味道真的麻麻,所以我吃净了很多猪肉. 但相反我的姐姐order这一碗虾头羔鲜虾汤檬,她真的可以把这碗汤檬吃光,她也有试过我这一猪肉捞檬,也叹气地说猪肉真的麻麻地,和这一碗虾头羔鲜虾汤檬很大对比,我也试过他的虾头羔鲜虾汤几口,真的很浓,很香虾头羔鲜味,真的很大对比了.如下一次再来,我一定不会拣猪肉,选择低风险的鸡翼吧! 继续阅读

看见食评一面倒的好评, 便慕名前来吃个午餐。老实说, 四十~五十元一个午餐不算便宜。犹幸配料充足也挺精美。同行点的鱼丸汤粉、牛腩米线不过不失, 鱼丸味道独特, 牛腩也够腍。我的牛肉捞檬也有充足的牛肉。总括而言味道是中上, 不算惊为天人所以一碗粉一杯餐饮=这样的价格, 也实在不太划算... 继续阅读
