We had a $500 cash coupon ... and decided to use it on dinner.... Yesterday as the last day .. so have to use it.. Last time we try the Tempenyaki.. it was ok .. but a bit expensive... now this time we try just japanese dinner. we have ordered:1. Sea Urchi - very fresh2. Soft shell Craf Avacado Roll - good3. Teppanyaki has always been my favourite Japanese cuisine. After reading KC’s latest comments on Wa San Mai, I decided to give it a try and I went there with my boyfriend last Saturday night.We didn’t go for the set menu. We didn’t go for the set menu. Instead, we ordered a lobster (500g), US rib eye (250g), lamb chops and fried rice with Uni. Everything was up to our expectation. The lobster was absolutely marvelous!!! It was very fresh and the timing was just right. The chef used the lobster 膏and a bit of butter to make the sauce which was so very delicious!!! My boyfriend could hardly say a word when he was enjoying the lobster. I could just hear him mumbling “hmm…hmm…hmm”besides me.

Totally agree with KC that this place is one of the best Teppanyaki in Hong Kong.

我們吃著清新的青菜沙律,廚師氣定神閒的到來,摺濕布抺鐵板再抺刀,準備好一碟碟要燒的材料,一輪功架,我們的鐵板燒表演正式開始。先來的是幾款海鮮,有銀鱈魚、有大蝦、有帶子。銀鱈魚略煎,大蝦要去殼除腸,帶子要腸、羔及肉分開煎,三種海鮮一起下板,但卻有三種處理方法,及需要不同的時間,師傅完全是做到控制自如,非常精彩。大蝦鮮味,肉質結實彈牙;銀鱈魚煎得皮脆,底下的魚脂豐腴,肉質肥美;帶子腸爽脆,羔及肉都鮮甜好味。全部海鮮質數都高,所以只用簡單的鹽及胡椒去吊吊味就行,什麼調味料也用不上,滿意;

吃罷海鮮,師傅拿來一碟白飯,要來個炒飯。先下蛋漿煎蛋,煎至成型再去硬硬的飯,一輪「剷影」之後,兜兜切切,就變成了粒粒飽滿金黃,香味四溢的蛋炒飯。圓身的日本米粒粒分明,口感十足,用上最簡單的蔥花及紅蘿蔔粒去調味,己相當出色;

說時遲那時快,師傅已將兩片厚的牛柳放下鐵板去煎。我要medium而朋友要medium well done,師傅氣定神閒的將兩塊牛柳各面略煎,快手的切成牛柳粒,簡單的加鹽及胡椒去調味,加點炸蒜片,就陸續放在我們面前給我們吃。師傅掌握火侯非常的到家,medium的就外熟內裡嫩紅,medium well done就差一點全熟,內裡有一點點的紅色,剛剛好;雖然要了美國牛肉,但肉質都不錯,吃落也沒有渣,當然如果要澳洲和牛,一定更美味。

還有醃菜及味噌湯,飽了十成,亦很滿意。

例牌的去沙發位,一邊傾計一邊喝餐後咖啡,悠悠閒閒的。咖啡幾香,下的也是忌廉,如果是熱的,加分更多。

侍應服務態度好,人手足夠,又夠快手,也是滿分。
朋友埋單,應該是三百五十幾蚊,以一個鐵板燒的全餐來說,物超所值,絕對值得推薦。

是全港最好的鐵板燒之一,我說的。

題外話一:這裡的牛肉,一是美國牛,一是澳洲和牛,不會隱隱悔悔的說是什麼神戶牛,甚至是走私牛,夠均真;

題外話二:對海的一排座位是吃shabu shabu或壽司及煮物的,但來這裡絕對只有一個目的,是吃鐵板燒。

每逢‘大時大節’,特別日子或想不到其他更好的地方時,便會去食千登世的鐵板燒套餐。但自從千登世連續幾間分店結業後,我們全家都失落了一段日子。想不到在千登世同一位置,居然開了這‘和三味’,我們見也有鐵板燒便姑且入內一試。好感動呀~~~!竟然是千登世的翻版!!!也是有師傅在我們面前表演即叫即燒;我們叫了兩個套餐三個人分,有大蝦,銀鱈魚和薄燒牛肉;我們每次都選薄燒牛肉,內裡包著洋蔥,青蔥和蒜粒一起來燒,一燒即上碟,又香又滑,簡直是超級美味!套餐內還包前菜,麵豉湯,炒雜菜,一大碗炒飯和餐飲,所以一定夠飽。餐飲我們多數揀熱奶茶,因為他們用的花奶特別的香濃,聽說是用植脂奶,但何種牌子則是‘商業秘密’。

午餐有多款選擇,有和食或鐵板燒,惟獨無shabu shabu。價錢與晚上相比,便宜得多。我的和三昩定食賣相精緻,有沙律﹑剌身﹑壽司﹑天婦羅﹑漬物﹑喬麥麵。男友的特上手握壽司不見的特上。總括這裡的魚生不是太好,來吃鐵板燒會更好。下次待晚上來試試和牛shabu shabu。

I went to Wa San Mai with my friends during lunch today but the services were so disappointing. The grilled salmon set that I ordered couldn't arrive even when my friends had finished their lunch sets. We've been chasing the waitress twice and even the grey suit captain (sort of) twice. The set finally arrived approx at least 30-45 mins after I made the order. It turned out that the salmon was a smoked one. It was not grilled at all. I didn't feel hot but only warm even on the Salmon surfa

I went to Wa San Mai with my friends during lunch today but the services were so disappointing.

The grilled salmon set that I ordered couldn't arrive even when my friends had finished their lunch sets. We've been chasing the waitress twice and even the grey suit captain (sort of) twice. The set finally arrived approx at least 30-45 mins after I made the order. It turned out that the salmon was a smoked one. It was not grilled at all. I didn't feel hot but only warm even on the Salmon surface! I would think they lacked fresh salmon but used a smoked one instead. They should have asked me if I minded a smoked one or not but they didn't.

There seems to be enough waiters/waitresses/captains but it seems that the waiters/waitresses are so green and was not managed properly while the dark suit captains seem try to ignore us when we waved our hands for order or something. We could see at a time that 2 captains served a table of 2 business men whose orders seem to be a lot expensive than us! We felt discriminated.

When we left, I could hear a voice from the table next to us yelling for their cutlery which was not given to them even when their food arrived!

聽kc介紹呢到D鐵板燒唔錯,午市價錢算合理。而老友又想食日本菜,決定醫飽個肚後才血併。環境好舒服,寬敞又開揚,鐵板起碼有三大張,尤其shabu shabu那邊有維港海景位。星期六中午非常旺場,我估計有8、9成滿,幸好預先訂位。呢度鐵板燒是招牌菜,我o地當然食鐵板燒啦,為避衣服沾了油煙,待應小姐為每位客人先帶上圍裙,服務幾貼心。我同老友都點了鵝肝牛扒鐵板燒,先上沙律,與一段的日式沙律差不多。麵豉湯-好大碗,味道好濃,還配以一小碟漬物前菜。煎鵝肝-師傅先把薄薄的麵包略煎,再放上煎好的鵝肝,鵝肝本身都幾靚,沒有根亦嫩口,可能熟了少少,沒有入口即溶的效果。再來炒飯,有蔥粒、蒜粒、甘荀粒及蛋雞蛋,師傅純熟的手法,好快已炒好大大碗美味的炒飯,蛋炒得均勻、又有蔥粒、蒜粒等香味,飯又粒粒爽口。我最欣賞是這碗炒飯。主角牛扒出場,我同老友反宜覺得就一般,沒有牛味,但伴碟的蒜片就好野味,之後還有炒雜菜,師傅將牛扒的肥膏煎出油後,才落芽菜、菜等配料一起炒。可能人多關係,待應小姐安排客人到後面的梳化位置享用餐茶。由於沒有包甜品,我o地索性每人點了一杯雪榚,我就要了豆腐雪榚,質地有點似雪芭,但豆腐味香濃,一杯真係

Out of curiousity, my boyfriend and I went there for lunch. The lunch sets are all over HKD130. But I guess there's a chef cooking in front of you, so that makes it special.Both my boyfriend and I really enjoyed it. Really want to revisit again, but gotta save up 'cos HKD130+ for lunch/person is quite expensive to be honest. May try out once on a special occassion their dinner, but guess will become broke after the meal.Hope my boyfriend will treat me there again ^_^
