Red bean bun is my favorite. Red bean bun produced by Hoixie Cake Shop is delicious and compares well with those made by Japanese bakeries. The bun is tender and soft, not too sweet or oily. The red bean paste, almond flakes and sesame seeds add flavor and texture to the bun. It is ideal for breakfast and afternoon tea.It costs $20 a load and is considered a good buy.

以为凯施已经结业!原来是搬了!这家店真有拼劲,生意不见得有多么红火,却又一直挣扎著存在。传说老板超有钱;传说是风水缘故;传说…而我,总有理由上这家店。喜欢她的咖哩牛肉炸包,超肥但好好味,很少面包店会供应,我则吃了好几十年。最近也没看到了,恐怕已是绝种。港式面包的代表-菠萝油则牛油超大块,夹在甜丝丝的菠萝包中,既是天使;也是魔鬼! 还有哪果酱西饼,历史感十足,现在懂的人已不多,却仍能在凯施的蛋糕雪柜中见到。每家饼店都有的蛋挞,凯施却水准飘忽。有时造得不错,非常靓仔;有时却'甩皮甩骨',一言难尽。还有一些无以名状、林林总总的联合国糕点,像广东口味的老婆饼、日本风格的牛奶面包…名字陌生,长得也奇怪!难以将凯施定位,算是家可有可无的饼店吧!但我又何尝是个举足轻重的客人呢?
