Since 1988, tmtplaza has been noted as the largest shopping mall in the Northwest New Territories. Its diverse range of merchandise and its unique marketing and promotional programmes attract customers from far and wide. With more than 1,000,000 sq. ft., tmtplaza is an integral part of the district, offering residents a myriad of shopping, dining and entertainment facilities, and providing visitors with a comfortable venue from which to explore the surrounding countryside. Transport networks include bus services to various parts of Hong Kong, including express services to Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, West Rail to Kowloon and the Light Rail serving the western New Territories.
