It was undoubtedly a wise decision to this bar in the previous weekend. I am a cocktail aficionado and have always fond of bar visiting. Its literally an adventure with respect to their drinks quality, their price, their environment as well as their customer services, they all counts. The Bar on 15 is located at the top floor of the block. Frankly speaking, it was a genuine surprise when we are allocated in the window seat, the view of Victoria Harbor and night WanChai are spectacular and stunning.Perhaps it’s due to weekend, there wasn’t much customers, from my point of view, is such a fantastic atmosphere for secret romance
Pina ColadaOnce I get to a new cocktail bar. Pina Colada will become my inspection tool. One can easily judge a bartender’s skill from this classic tiki drink, simply see if it is served frozen or on rock, since the blending process will immensely dilute and damage the cane and pineapple flavor of the ingredients, thus, an experienced bartender who possess sophisticated cocktail knowledge will always make their Pina shaken then on rock!Fortunate enough, I am satisfy with this Pina, firstly, as I have mentioned, it was being served on rock instead of frozen ( a common mistake made by a lot of restaurant….). The silky cane and malibu coconutty flavor are thoroughly released. More importantly, I could taste out a splash of pineapple in the middle of the flow which is the fundamental element of a tropical tiki cocktail. From my personal drinking experience, this Pina is fairly worth drinking and delicious, given that it is buy one get one for free during happy hour^^Autumn LycheeWell, my darling is a non-alcoholic who has ordered a mocktail ‘’Autumn Lychee ‘’.The drink is nicely layered into two separated segments, a very appealing outlook. It consists of mainly ginger beer and lychee syrup (read from their menu). I reckon it gonna be quite suitable for sweet teeth as it is fairly sweety and fill with South east Asian fruity aroma. All in all, I am more than willing to rank this lounge above average within this market segment and the expenses. The services are professional up to a hotel level. At least those waiters are patient to take our order and frequently refilling the chips and nuts all night long, appreciable.Nevertheless, I reckon a drawback of the place. They merely serve one type of draught beer : Asahi, which I did down two pints at the end, typical lager, creamy head, chilled and fairly bitter, but noting more than that. The bar will be much more attractive if they provide a series of cask ales, like Fuller’s ESB/ London Pride or various fruity cider.…Read More
