To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Extremely terrible service. The lady at reception counter was not ushering accordingly , but ushered according to her preference. Today , we got number 58 with a table for 5 (my grandparents are all over 80 years old and my wife is pregnant ) . As they didn't provide asufficient waiting seats (only 2 seats , but 50 people waiting outside, breathing heavy smoke from their kitchen ), I waited outside alone. However , the usher let customers behind me get in first. Surprisingly , I did see they separate a table for 6 into 2+4 to server customers with numbers more than 60. The answer from this usher was our family was not there, but the truth was she never called my number before ushering others. How did she know we are NOT there !? The manager at that branch was even worse ! The arrogant attitude was pissing me off !!! It is not my first time being there. The food is good but definitely is not worthy experiencing the TERRIBLE service.

Famous for its baked bbq pork bun, Tim Ho Wan has attracted lots of visitors. Residing in the same district, I finally gave it a try in this renowned restaurant. As it opened at 10:00am, we arrived at 9:45. Expecting to queue up, only a few people were waiting surprisingly. 
Once we entered, we immediately ordered the most famous dish - baked bbq pork bun and other seven delicacies. For their tastes, most of their quality were quite good. Especially the bbq pork bun, the crispy and sweet crust matched well with the fresh bbq pork inside. Also the steamed shrimp dumplings having thin roll but big shrimp tasted good as well. However, the glutinous rice dumpling was a bit disappointing.It was salty that was not healthy to consumers. Overall the dimsums tasted good, yet their prices were high relatively. 
Other Info. : The decoration and atmosphere were not as usual as those in traditional chinese restaurants. Personally I think the environment was not comfortable because of limited seat space. Neither can I read newspapers nor stretch myself. This is disappointing.

酥皮焗叉燒飽($19), 熱門食物, 差不多每枱也會點. 三個圓碌碌的可愛迷你墨西哥飽直線排開, 摸上去還熱辣辣的, 即焗沒有假的, 很怕在酒樓吃冷冰冰的酥皮叉燒飽, 瓣開還有白煙出的, 十足一個小岩洞一樣有趣. 外層焗得酥脆, 內裡卻是鬆軟香甜的麵包, 加上香甜濕潤的叉燒粒, 口感十足, 吃一口有幸福滋味. 平常不吃墨西哥包的我也忍不住大讚美味.

另外茗茶每位$3, 一律只供應普洱茶, 我們慣常飲茶會自備茶品(十足老年長者的行為
), 如果茶品也可以有多款選擇會更貼心一點. 不過兩人晚飯也只吃了百多元, 加上環境舒適, 食物質素也有水準, 算是十分趆值了.

唔知係咪師傅做唔切還是換咗師博,呢餐點嘅食物除咗個叉焼包好食外,其他都勁退步!😖蝦蛟冇味,腸粉好普通,鮮竹卷太鹹,糯米鷄啲米又太軟,唔知篜耐咗定水太多喇,鳯爪排骨飯-啲排骨有少少肉腥味,白飯散散的..本來都替佢開心因為香港點心能夠入到米之蓮,可惜同一問題一出名之後就衰!唉!希望佢地會改善返啦!

上次去旺角找不到添好運,原來它搬到大角咀去了這家分店很美,空間很大,走白色的歐陸風大概3點多到吧,等候的人潮都還蠻多的等了一下子就到我們了酥皮义燒包一份3個,是必點的名物喔新熱出爐,遠遠都聞到它的香氣,流口水啦酥酥脆脆的外皮,內裡是美味多汁的义燒好好吃啊!!再來一份,我都嗑得完煎蛋牛肉飯這個是幫男朋友點的,簡單的美味啦而且牛肉很正,又嫩又好吃嘻嘻,把蛋刺穿,澎湃的蛋液慢慢的流出來飯混著牛肉跟蛋的香氣,好吃啦~馬拉糕這個就有點遜色了喔,不太完美陳皮牛肉球牛肉球的Size算大顆,牛肉很嫩又鮮味道很夠,但沒什麼陳皮香這次花了HKD75,超划算的啦就算要小排隊一下也值得!!

Actually the food was not bad but the service was extremely disappointed.
 
That was not logical that the waitress forced all the customers to sit together even there was always avaliable desks right beside us. They created a totally crowded and uncomfortable environment for customers to have meal.

They are not willing to improve then this place is not deserved to go.

中午和朋友到這家米芝蓮一星的點心店吃東西, 奧海城分店的位置相當偏僻, 要走到商場外才有辦法進去, 因為有朋友帶路所以還好, 不然真的找不到這家店。我們星期五下午一點半左右到步, 只等了一會就有位子, 裡面的佈局大部份是一堆桌子堆成一張長桌然後兩邊放椅子, 所以大部份人都要搭檯, 每當有人要進出就要把桌子推走, 可謂相當沒情調, 加上環境很吵, 假如是想靜靜聊天的話就不推薦這家餐廳了。我們一行四人共點了酥皮叉燒包、陳皮牛肉球、豬潤腸粉、糯米雞、蝦餃、燒賣、馬拉糕、鳳爪、煎蘿蔔糕、鳳爪排骨飯和油菜。其中有幾種比較特別:酥皮叉燒包: 一開始我看名字以為是叉燒酥的那種酥皮, 但事實上是包著叉燒的墨西哥包, 味道意外的合得來, 相當好吃;陳皮牛肉球: 陳皮味比平常的牛肉球重, 但墊底的腐竹很少;豬潤蒸腸粉: 豬潤很有彈性, 但腸粉的體積比平常小;糯米雞: 它其實是荷葉飯, 看起來很大, 但雞的比例相對較少;煎蘿蔔糕: 蘿蔔糕的蘿蔔比例充足, 但煎得不夠脆;其他的東西就是外貌、內涵、味道都很正常的菜式, 跟在其他地方吃到的差不多, 沒失望也沒有驚喜。埋單時每人才$55, 加上當時人不多也沒人催促

埋單時每人才$55, 加上當時人不多也沒人催促我們離開, 算是不錯。姑且不題它值不值米芝蓮一星, 它的食物水準、上菜效率和整體環境都值那$55, 除了位置隔涉和沒有私人空間外, 基本上都值得光顧。

但我本人對它還是有點不滿—這不滿不是人人有的—就是它的茶淡而無味, 是只有顏色的水。對我個人而言, 飲茶是吃點心的必備條件, 當然我完全不要求茶樓的茶有多高的水準, 但好歹前面幾泡也要有味道喔。但它沒有, 別說是水滾茶靚, 它根本沒有茶味, 只有泡太多遍留下的茶鹼味。假如要省錢直接給熱水就好了, 最少比較健康, 為甚麼要給客人沒有味道的茶呢? 就算它的賣點是點心, 茶也應該要有一點質素喔, 我們好歹有付茶錢啊!

我的情況跟大家有D似.我和一位朋友去的時候是下午六時.當時大半間餐廳是吉的.但店員硬要我搭枱,若不搭枱便坐正門口. 門口位置十分熱, 而且員工只顧傾計也不會確定出入的人把門關上. 坐了五分鐘妃已經汗流浹背.當時大半間餐廳是吉的, 我不明白為何要這樣安排. 我向店員反映. 她反過說:'我給你搭枱你不要......門口是熱的....' (罵人半分鐘)她還加了一句'隨便你在網上反映'既然對方連公司聲譽都不顧, 我也沒有辦法. 我叫左野食, 但最後只好沒有吃便俾錢走人.(從來沒一間食店令我忍無可忍要立即離開)

因為本人好中意食豬潤,所以點都會話呢個好食!哈哈

但要講有咩不足就系的料太少了,得幾舊勁勁勁細粒既豬潤,個皮又厚,同埋唔真系咁黃沙lo!太子某某腸粉專門店比呢度出色多了!

整體來講,所謂天外有天,添好運食物既質素真系比以前差左,講真其他新興既點心專門店無論各方面都同添好運有得fight甚至超越埋佢!不過,未食過既朋友可以一試!中意香港點心既就更加要試下,話sai 都系始祖wo!
另外,唔知系咪香港點心揚名海外既關係,有一定數量既外國人同遊客去食架!

食左:燒賣 -- 很乾且細粒!糯米雞 -- 一打開塊葉就有舊雞骨6出黎 一邊食一邊吐了很多細骨出來, 不小心會咬'奔'牙菜苗鮮蝦餃 -- 入面的菜很油, 入口啖啖油, 菜苗應該用油泡了才包入餃.....雞包仔 -- 像菜肉包, 但看不見雞肉, 但有幾舊很un的軟骨物體, 要吐出來腐皮卷 -- 炸得油但不算很脆陳皮牛肉球 -- 好彩沒有陳皮味, 還可以因上了米之連, 吸引不少外國人來食, 我都是第一次幫襯, 性價比一般, 叫做有點心吃老實說, 7仔的糯米雞比它還好吃舖頭位於奧海城外圍, 從商場走出去要行至少100米才到, 夏天在那裏等位也不是滋味

燒賣 -- 很乾且細粒!

由於ifc分店係lunch hour時段係超級多人, 所以今次特意來到大角咀食依家星級點心店. 根據之前經驗, 除左酥皮叉燒包係比較impressive之外, 其他點心都只係一般水平 (當然我無試晒全部list上既點心...). 所以, 每次叉燒包都係必叫之一. 一如以往~酥皮叉燒包仍然都係好好味~~無令我失望. 另外, 估唔到今次馬拉糕有驚喜, 竟然散發住甜甜地, 有d糖既香味~比一般既好食~正! 此外, 我地仲食左粉果同鳳爪排骨飯. 粉果同出面個d無咩分別. 鳳爪排骨飯就可以話係好壞參半, d排骨唔錯, 比出面個d好~食到有肉味而唔係雪味. 不過可惜d飯唔得...d米唔好食...而鳳爪, 佢依隻係似人地炆個種(膠質多d), 但其實我比較欣賞平時個隻...一般般啦~總括黎講: 依度點心質素算ok, 但唔係真係出色得咁緊要, 個笑面係比酥皮叉燒包同馬拉糕的!

煎臘味蘿蔔糕$14-----煎得不是好香又晤夠熱,切得好薄冇口感,又冇臘味??不過都有不是蘿蔔絲,但糕身一夾就散!!!

酥皮焗叉燒包$19----- 一客三件的酥皮焗叉燒包是本店的招牌,不過不會有太大的驚喜,個包底都有煎過都脆口,可是個包不是好夠熱,外皮都算鬆脆,外層的脆皮好像我們平時食的墨西哥包般,酥皮夠鬆化又夠薄身,個叉燒餡的蜜汁味好香甜滿溢又不膩,內餡飽滿,不過不失。

古法糯米雞$26------塊荷葉真是好大,不過個糯米雞size真是好細,d飯又冇味,又冇荷葉香!!而且都稍硬不夠軟綿,又有一兩粒生米未熟透,醬汁不太足夠而且只有碎濕濕的雞肉而不是雞翼,還有一粒冬菇仔,又冇元貝、蝦乾粒及咸蛋黃!!!不是太令人好滿足。

張枱已經是好細,,放了兩三籠點心之後都晤夠位!!所以後來\都拉多張枱俾自己,不過此店的侍應服務真是不是招呼週到,都是較被動,地方光猛可是座位及枱之間真是好迫,要拉全張枱才行到出去。地方又噪又坐得迫,如果想睇下報和慢慢歎一盅兩件的話此店不是好適合,想有地方放下手袋報紙都難。食物方面水準真是好一般,而且有些食物真是俾我們想像中差,用料方面有點吝嗇。
