蒸鳳爪幾乎都係飲茶必叫㗎啦,但呢度嘅蒸鳳爪呢就有個twist㗎喎,有別於一般嘅豆豉醬,佢用咗味香帶微辣嘅老干媽嚟蒸,估唔到真係別有一番風味。最欣賞佢嘅地方就係佢份量好大,除咗件數多之外,每隻鳳爪都大大隻,絕對唔會好似小兒麻痹咁,而且好入味,相信即使食開傳統點心嘅長輩都會鍾意。

大鄉里嘅我,如果唔係早幾日喺IG睇其他Foodie介紹過雪茄春卷,真係唔會知道原來係雪茄造型嘅春卷。不過呢度嘅雪茄春卷比我見過嘅相片更粗更大,裏面嘅餡料非常足,有好多大大粒嘅蝦肉,爽口彈牙!個人認為裏面嘅醬同餡已經好夠味,唔太需要再額外點沙律醬嚟食。由於叫到成枱都係點心,我哋係食晒熱辣辣嘅蒸點先開始食春卷,但佢依然脆卜卜,而且如果係細食啲嘅話,基本上叫一條兩份分就好足夠啦!

北菇蒸雞飯相信大家點都會食過啦,但係青薑蓉蒸雞飯,就連我都係第一次食咋!開頭我哋仲搵緊枱頭有無豉油,因為一般嘅做法都係要落啲豉油落去蒸飯度撈勻嚟食。後尾先知原來啲青薑蓉好濃味,而且油分十足,直接撈落啲飯到食已經唔需要再額外加豉油啦。佢嘅滑雞係連皮嘅,真係滑捋捋而且無骨,脂肪比例唔會太重,鹹鹹香香嘅調味非常啱我口味。而且佢嘅份量都唔細㗎,我哋各自都食到兩碗仔飯,又係一抵食之選。

今晚來到元朗和朋友夜嘆點心!「8號茶居」這間分店就位於元朗廣場附近。甫入座,店員就會詢問飲哪一款茶,筆者和朋友選擇了香片。大大粒的燒賣皇!足料啖啖肉,充滿豬肉香味,裡面還包裹了原隻蝦肉。以原盅形式上的綿花雞,湯汁用了花雕酒、當歸、杞子等藥材熬煮,藥膳味濃郁。魚肚盡索湯汁精華,雞件也頗為嫩滑。而由於用了藥膳食材,入口會多了一份甘甘的味道。叉燒包就屬於正常質素,不過不失。第一次見腸粉加了青瓜,感覺幾特別。腸粉帶有米香味,叉燒配青瓜不但多添了一份清新,而且也能減少膩感。茄子釀上墨魚滑,塗上燒汁再以木魚片點綴,乍看之下有點像日本居酒屋小食。入口惹味,尤其墨魚滑好有彈牙感。紅棗糕微甜,質感非常煙韌軟糯,咀嚼間會有微微紅棗香味滲出。最後來一份餐廳招牌的流沙西多士!麵包炸至金黃脆身,切開即有流沙奶皇餡湧出。味道甜甜的,夾雜鹹蛋香味,美味又邪惡!

呢間8號茶居未食之前感覺一般,一來等位又熱又落雨,二來自己唔太鐘意飲茶,但今日爸爸話好耐未飲過茶,就帶佢黎扮下孝順。但食完之後真係有D喜出望外,非常驚喜。見到有個龍虎榜就叫想食既試下先泡椒魚皮 $30 - 超好味爽口酸辣,如果唔係太飽想叫多個雞蛋牛肉腸$29 - 好香雞蛋同好飽滿既牛肉係入面,食望啖啖都很滿足瀑布流沙奶皇西多士 $31 - 好似食緊流沙包加西多士咁,可能爸爸唔鐘意太油膩,佢唔太喜歡麵包吸左油。8號蝦餃皇 $19 - 大大隻蝦好足料,勁好味。薑葱牛柏葉 $32 - 牛柏葉口感好爽脆,一點都唔un,而且薑葱味都好夠。鵪鶉蛋燒賣 $30 - 好懷舊既味道,爸爸食得好知味,鵪鶉蛋好軟滑。鴛鴦鮮蝦米網腸 $36 - 腸粉皮包住米網紙再包鮮蝦,口感特別,軟滑、鬆脆、爽口三種唔同既感覺溶為一體。本身想加單食其他野,但實在太飽啦,唯有下次再同爸爸黎食過。總結而言大致上都好好味,係酒樓以外食點心既好去處,我會再番黎食。
