Hiked all the way from Tung Chung to Mui Wo for this bowl of tomato soup crab/ pork noodles!This is only available on Sundays. We arrived around 12:30pm and we got the last bowls. It got sold out afterwards. Lucky us!There was crab and some pork to go with the noodles, the soup tastes savoury. Went to the k11 five guys on a sunday night, and it was crowded, had to wait a while to get a tableGood Burger-  Had the little cheese burger(all the way).  The burger was packed with toppings and the patty was well done.  Its a very good combination.  Next time, I would customize my toppings (want to try the hot sauce!)  The Fries was good too.  Ordered the small portion,  but its not small at all, a very generous portion!  I would say this is the best fries in Hong Kong! Thick cut with skin and with the right amount of salt. Bad experience at the cashier-  I've been to Five Guys at New York and even the Wan Chai branch and this was the worst experience.  The cashier was impatient (I was the only one at the cashier at that time, no one lining up behind me),  when I ordered Fries, he asked if I want Chili with it, as I didn't know you could add chili to fries so I asked him if I could actually do that, then he just repeated the question and didn't bother to explain.  My guess is the menu has another item called "chili fries" and there is also "regular fries", well but I'll never know because the cashier didnt bother to explain.When I finished the order, I asked if I could get a receipt, then the cashier just said impatiently, "you are already holding the receipt, thats it" in a very rude tone.  Super disappointed with the service.However, this only applies to the cashier.  Love the vibe in the burger counters with the hustle and rustle. …查看更多

Since we got a 20% discount, and I want (half) an egg , so premium tsukemen it is.Before my tsukemen arrived, I can’t help noticing the lady sitting at the table next to us, she was drinking the tsukemen soup! literally drinking! I was quite surprised, i thought... isnt the tsukemen soup a bit too salty for drinking?!When my tsukemen arrived, I got the answer why... The soup is actually not that salty, causing the noodle tasting a bit bland even after dipping into the soup. Located in an old neighborhood in Tsuen Wan, this roadside restaurant has a cafe like decor and the inside is larger than I thought.Got seated on the bar table for a Sunday lunch.The lunch menu offers various variety of food ranging from sushi, ramen, rissotto and all day breakfast. This is quite amazing.I decided to try the Miso ‘hotpot’ beef. The portion was quite large. The pot got a lot of veggies inside. At first I thought the miso hotpot meant that its a miso soup base but I was wrong, the miso meant that they give u some miso sauce to eat with the beef. To me, the miso sauce doesnt tatse quite miso, it tasted like a garlic sauce. Went to Main Street Deli to try the Asia Miles x Openrice lunch menu, and its very good value!!For starters, we chose the Barley & Mushroom soup, and its soooooo filling, quite large portion with a lot of mushrooms and barley, it feels like we are eating a risotto instead of a soup!For mains, we could choose a half sandwich or Reuben, and basically you can choose any sandwich in the menu besides the lobster roll. To our surprise, ‘Cubano’ was on the menu. Having watched the movie ‘Chef’ on Netflix the other night, we got curious of the food truck culture in the US and the feature food in the movie was Cuban Sandwich! It looks so delicious in the movie! At last we went for the Cubano and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with french fries as sides. The sandwich was a half portion so its not that enough, luckily the fries portion was quite generous and they pair the fries with a cheese/ mayonnaise dip. This restaurant is located next to a wet market, and looks very hip! You wouldn’t believe such a restaurant exist in tsuen wan old neighborhood and next to an old wet market!!! Its because we can see the wet market while seated, it gave us the feeling as if we were in thailand !We went here for lunch on a saturday. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced. Its ~ 70ish for a rice and a drink! We had the yellow curry and the spicy minced pork. The portion was very large!! The food tasted on the sweet side and it was gooooood! We got the coconut ice cream and its a very good decision!!! theres 2 large scoops with peanuts and apples as toppings. Very good value! The restaurant may have made the ice cream themselves! Went to Shun Tak Mall for lunch.Ming Kook is a relatively large restaurant with a lot of seating available. We were quicky seated sharing a table with 6 other people. Looking around, they offer some bar seats for lone dinners and some long tables for groups. Despite the virus situation, they didn’t put up any boards to separate different groups of diners and you had to seat close to other unknown patrons.The restaurant basically offers 3 types of food - laksa, pho and rice. We decided to try the crayfish laksa this time. The portion is fair and amount of crayfish is quite generous. The taste is normal laksa taste with a milky soup. My colleague told me arome now provides hot lunches and its only $28. I thought, why not give it a try?So I ordered the assorted steak meal. It consists of a pork chop, a chicken cutlet, 2 sausages and some spaghetti I totally regret this meal.... Its not edible.... I have never tasted sausages this awful... This shop is located next to the Tiger Milk Tea and anotherhappiness milk tea. Got the black sugar pearl milk tea and was told I couldnt adjust the sweetness of the drink. Thats ok, because the tea was not sweet and only the black sugar pearl was sweet. So overall this drink was not crazily sweet like others. Its a sweet + not sweet combination. Used the openrice takeaway service to order Banh Mi for lunch! Its quite convenient, ordered at office, then went out, when I arrive at the restaurant, my lunch was ready for me to takeaway. Saves time!Had the cold cut classic sandwich. The baguette was very crispy, everytime I took a bite, crumbs fell on my desk. Its quite messy to eat but I like the crispy texture.! Got attracted by their sakura themed drinks poster so decided to grab their burgers for dinner after movie.This was our first time visiting this Shake Shack at Elements, though we’ve been to the IFC branch several times.Compared to the IFC branch, Elements Shake Shack is more spacious, and more seats are available. We were able to secure a nice table to ourselves. Burger at Shack Shack is good as always. French fries are crinkle cut with a dash of salt. As to the focus of our visit- The Sakura Milk Shake- which is really plain vanilla milk shake- the shake itself is very photogenic- its plain vanilla, very very sweet vanilla with some pink coloured white chocolate on top as topping. They offer various lunch sets (different types of hotdogs I should say)We got the Avocado dog and Lobster dog. The hotdog is quite large in size.
