興記菜館 is may not be the most fancy restaurant in town, but the restaurant’s specials are definitely worth a mention. 東風螺 (4/10)
This was a very simple dish, the conches were boil with water and went with dipping sauce. The conches were fresh and had great texture.
田鸡煲仔饭 (4/10)The rice was cooked in a clay pot, and it was rather disappointing. The rice wasn’t cooked long enough, where it doesn’t burnt at the bottom. The frog legs were extremely tender and perfectly cooked.
The services as expected, rather poor but they did the job for it purpose to get the orders right. However, the cook was slow, perhaps during winter has a lot of dinners to look after.Give me a thumbs up if you like it!
