First evening did not start well. Ordered two types of oyster to start, after a wait, told they are not available, but the two most expensive types were. Suggested that they take the unavailable ones off the blackboard to prevent confusion with other diners, was roundly ignored. Fish&Chips were just nasty. Soggy batter and dry/tasteless, frozen? fish. Chips were good. Server didn't bother to ask why half the plate was left uneaten. Guess she didn't care.

check shirt and tatty jeans, asked how our meal was and seemed uninterested in our appraisal.

Our second visit was no better.The anchovy bruscetta would have been better with crisp not soggy toast. The fish pie arrived in the smallest serving dish I have ever seen for a main course of comfort food like this. Was literally slightly bigger than an Iphone! Pic attached. Instead of the traditional mashed potato topping there was a dry piece of pastry/biscuit. The swordfish burger was served with huge bun and ungenerous portion of the dry fish. The new manager, young and slightly camp, did not even bother to ask how our meal was, I guess he simply didn't care either! For $650 inc a couple drinks and water we felt robbed.
題外話/補充資料: The beer was good and cold.
