Haven't been meeting this girl for ages. We decided to have a long chat over BBQ.The restaurant was quite spacious, just a little dark, maybe it is their atmospheric arrangement? They offer sofa for three or up, long benches shared with others. The restaurant was quite spacious, just a little dark, maybe it is their atmospheric arrangement? They offer sofa for three or up, long benches shared with others. Overall speaking, we were satisfied with the setting.
There are snacks and appetiser offered on buffet table, like braised beef stomach, Thai boneless chicken feet, Japanese octopus, crab roes, and some vegetables with salad dressings. Quite some choices for drinks, say aloe drinks, lemon tea, etc. Seafood for BBQ were also available, the shrimps were big but the clams took quite a long time to get cooked.
After the starters, we then started to order sashimi. Salmon was fatty! I wasn't really a fan of raw salmon, so I grilled it and it just tasted fabulous. Yellowtail was okay, would be better if it wasn't so soft. Shrimps and scallops were relatively small but they were fresh, I especially loved the latter, was soooooo sweet.
For sushi, we only ordered the eel. Mini sushi, thin eel, little rice, allowed us to try more other food(: The rolls were unexpectedly nice! Look good, smell awesome, and taste even better!
Moving onto our BBQ, the ox tongue was our favourite. The shoulder part was diced that required lots of attention, or it would get burnt! The pork neck was attractive when it gave a super mouth watering smell was grilled but was super spicy that both of us had to leave it with pain. Chicken wings were smaller than those we normally buy from supermarket but the texture was tender and moist enough! Strongly recommend their lamb chops! Perfect seasoning and very tender and juicy.
We also grilled some seafood like shrimps and squids, the best were the cheesy scallops. Fresh and sweet!
BTW, we topped up to have premier beef, which we grilled it and was really worth the price. Sword fish sashimi, cheesy scallop and abalone were also other topup items that would be recommanded.
There were ice cream of various favours and other desserts but we didn't have time to try any... What a shame.... Will definitely try again when we had more time.
Overall: it was a nice dinner, the staff were responsive and sharp!
