I love wontons. I have been actively searched for the the best wonton noodle in Hong Kong by continuously eating wonton noodles for one weeks in different places including: Chee Kee (opposite to the Times Square), Ho Hung Kee (Causeway Bay), Chung Kee (Wing Kut Street), Wing Wah (Wan Chai), Wong Chi Kee (Wellignton Street). Based on my taste buds and memory, Mak Un is the clear winner. The noodle, wontons, and soup are excellent. In my opinion, the best is the soup, which can not be found in the other places. The shop always deliver CONSISTENT PRODUCTS- which I think is the most important criterion to differentiate the best from the good. By the way, I have been to Mak Un more than 100 times. However, I think the service is only average or below average. What a shame!
