The shop is very nicely located and decorated. Perfect for meetings friends and for business, very much quiet and peaceful... together with the the quality supply... you can easily find yourself back as we can all slow our pace here...

We were planning to stop by this tea house for a moment before a proper dinner, but we found that, their menu has expanded quite a bit, and offer nice set as well. So, we decided to give it a try, especially I saw my favourite, Unagi Don ...

Nicely presented, hot, and the eel is quite fresh too... little bony, and the sauce was not too sweet, mild. I did mix it with a bit of soup and wasabi, the traditional way, and it does give an "old-day" feeling... I miss it...

While the set at the opposite side seems appealing as well, with 4 small dishes, Fishy Fish, Steamed Egg, Dry Scallop and Chicken with pickle, 4 distinctive taste from 4 different angles, really interesting...

Kyohayashiya Obanzai (Japanese Meal Set)

As this is not really my set, I just asked to try the Steamed Egg and the Fishy Fish... very very nice... though it won't be the quality of Omakase, but still in a very very good quality, in particular, they are charging for HKD98 only, and plus HKD20, you can get a tea of your choice.... Absolutely Value for Money...

Unfortunately, when we revisit the menu again, we can't stop ourselves from ordering the sweet... like this one, it's almost a must order for every green tea lover. I am not really one of them, but I really enjoy the green tea flavour and would like to try all the tea products / desserts the shop prepared.. green jelly was very rich in taste, ice-cream was rich too, while the other 3 types of jelly was much mild in taste, plus the sticky rice ball.. in order to get the real taste of it... I suggest you to try it slowly by taking away the melting cone first...

Very very nice moment, and I can't stop our talking, as well as my spoon digging in the green tea dessert... but the most horrible thing happened, the evil dessert - HK exclusive Parfait... just the soft ice-cream on the top will get all your attention... I love it, so rich and smooth, while mixing with the lighter taste of Parfait ingredients, it's just like treasure hunting... because whoever the strong green tea mixed with something in the glass, surprises come... so, my guilt started mounting up, as I can already feel that I have overtaken too much sugar in dinner time... Have to go for another roundexercise this week... Cheers.
