Dinner here. Have read some comments here so we booked our seat. It was quite full so i'd recommend anyone to call in advance too. We reserved a soup but sorry i forgot its name, its the one with chicken feet. Nice one. Tasted very concentrated and no MSG. Usually chicken soup would be oilybut this one wasnt. Good one. Yam with sesame dressing-- the signature entree of here. Indeed nice, very fresh yam, crispy and refreshing in mouth. However, its order was missed out so it came so slow after all the main dishes. The eating order was wrong so the feeling wasnt right.
Smoked egg-- this was just so-so. The eggs werent smoked enough, very light taste; the egg yolk was too pale, didnt taste so strong too; but it's too sweet, so it's weird....
BBQ pork-- it was good, soft and sweet.
Steamed egg with big prawn-- it was the best dishes of the night! Very soft and silky! The egg slowly slipped down from mouth and went downwards! It must be a skill that every housewife is eagering for! (At least i'm!)
Good food so why did i give a "OK"?
........... Service.
Our order was missed out and we called for the yam a few times. Poor waitress just left "will check", without a glance to us nor our order slip. But then, she went away and did something else! We waited another 10 minutes and called again.... Finally the entree came after we finished everything. We called for the bill, the same waitress just slightly waved her hand then immediately she went away without following up. We waited and waited, then we called another waiter for the bill again successfully. So what was she doing??? She wasnt delivering any service nor attention to the customers at all!!! (I actually got her name but its too rude of me to disclose here)
Overall, good food bad service -- staff training is needed.
