YAKINIKU in some different elements. Mong Kok 🌃 is a place full of hidden gems and local bests food. We came here after work tonight for some Japanese cuisine, we picked a different restaurant this time- serving yakiniku but solo one - super cute set for one. The menu is in a piece of paper which we select our dishes. I do prefer this kind of ordering process as it gives me more time to decide what to eat. the interior inside is in traditional Japanese style, clean clear and spacious. I ordered

I ordered my favorite beef set for one with affordable price to begin with. The portion was large! they also provided us with some Japanese starter for free! delicious and flavorful. I ordered a few signature and popular dishes ...it arrived freshly, the beef was moist, soft and tasty.

Pork belly was grilled perfectly, flavor was yummy and the ox tongue wasn’t chewy at all even it gets cold after I took a few photos! chicken was also cooked nicely with the right amount of flavor. Not too salty or sweet.

we also picked the salad with sesame sauce dish, it’s actually one of the highlight of this meal - refreshing , chicken was juicy and moist; set was perfect for sharing among the two of us as we weren’t too hungry. Overall, the service was attentive and friendly, location might be hard to find but definitely worth a visit.
