This weekend we visited the Soho area for a bit of a chillax vibes, and discovered this hidden gem on the busy Elgin Street. In the afternoon, it is not as crowded and is actually quite relaxing. We did not queue until getting a table and were seated inside right away. The place is not huge but instead quite cute and chill. We ordered two brunch sets as it came with appetizer, main and a dessert. The appetizers included Smoked salmon and avocado salad, Gratin tomino cheese as well as the Aromatic
The appetizers included
Smoked salmon and avocado salad, Gratin tomino cheese as well as the Aromatic beets miso with cauliflower puree.
The cheese definitely stood out for me as it was super rich in texture and exceedingly well complemented with the parma ham. Certainly a delightful enjoyment to open my appetite!
Orecchiette Nduja Sausage and Rocket
This kind of pasta, also known as "cat ears" in Cantonese, is rarely found in Hong Kong. This dish is very well made with tasteful sauce and sausage. The texture of the pasta is quite soft and yet still not overly cooked.
Secreto Iberico Pork Grilled
The grilled pork is generously gigantic and is paired with french fries underneath. However, the texture was a bit harder than expected as maybe it was slightly overcooked. Still, I enjoyed it very much when paired with the sauce and fries.
The ice cream part is too small as it was not sufficient for a two people portion at all, as we actually had to fight for them for the last bit!
The taste and texture of the brownie are very impressive though, as it was not overly sweet and did not feel too heavy.
All in all, it was a nice dining experience as the environment was laid-back and clean. There was even a doge nearby when we were almost done eating and it was super cute! Would definitely recommend coming to try once, and we would most certainly come back to try out their infamous beef don for sure.
