I have had dinner at Dodam Chicken before and this time I came by at lunch time. They have lunch set menu with one free drink and all-you-can-eat kimchi and Korean stir-fried vermicelli. They serve roasted/fried chicken (with or without bones), rice, noodles, rice cake and pizza for lunch sets and all of them are priced at are around 70ish-80ish dollars. I wanted to have fried chicken. The pictures of fried chicken shown on the lunch set menu looks not too big, so I also ordered one honey butter

I wanted to have fried chicken. The pictures of fried chicken shown on the lunch set menu looks not too big, so I also ordered one honey butter fried chicken and one more set of Jjajang Udong which comes with a few pieces of fried chicken.
However, it turned out the fried chicken is in quite big portion! It is like those cost more than $100!

The fried chicken is very tender and juicy. The feeling is first like 拔絲, a bit crunchy with the layer of the cooled down honey, it’s also chewy like eating 麥牙糖, sometimes I felt the honey was stuck on my teeth! The chewy texture of the batter with honey was also like eating 薩其馬/馬仔 😆

The Jjajang udong id yum. Though in very dark color, it’s not too salty and there a lot of slices of pork!

Well, with the honey butter chicken, this typical fried chicken side dish is nothing comparable 🤣
