The light clean broth was full of firm tofu and plump clams, making it a healthy choice that also allowed us to taste the original flavor of all the food we ordered.

[Beef Platter]
The beef platter consisted of four different parts - delicate snow beef slices with quality marbling, tender Angus steak bites that melted in our mouths, ox tongue with a nice chewy touch and brisket deckle, which is the white fatty connective tissue. It was actually my first time trying deckle, so I was pleasantly surprised by the unique springy texture that softened up after being dipped into the hot soup.

[Minced Pork Balls with Preserved Vegetables and Shrimp Balls]
We fell in love with these freshly handmade balls, as they were extra large and juicy compared to store-bought ones served in other places. Highly recommend the minced pork with preserved vegetables, as it was distinctively savory and flavorful.
[Handmade Shrimp Dumplings]
We got two kinds of dumplings - shrimp wonton and shrimp watercress - which both had a generous portion of fillings. The watercress added a slight punch of peppery flavor and went well with the sweet shrimp.

[Fresh Prawns]
The prawns were conveniently thread on sticks for easy handling and they turned bright red in just a few seconds after being dunked in the boiling broth. The flesh was meaty and delightful on its own or dipped into soy sauce for a more umami taste.

[Pork Liver]
Not a huge fan of pork liver despite it being packed with nutrients, but this was very rich, palatable and not intensely strong.
