Such a shame for the location. The restaurant has the potential to be stunning, with its impressive entrance when one first exits the elevator, and the fantastic interior design sweeping out to the small balcony. A little element of dress code would make such a difference.
Ribeye steak cooked to perfection, and the cut was, in the main, tender and full of flavour.. But I would have preferred if more than 50% had been meat instead of pure fat.
My wife ordered oysters for starting and spent the rest of the night ill.
(a shame as she has oysters everywhere she goes)
Even getting to the venue was painful.
After worming our way into the middle of TST, and into a mall for teenagers and 20-30s, we waited at the lift for almost 20mins before we could go up.
Once there we were seated next to the door to the balcony, which is constantly being opened and closed. Worst seat in the house, as the smell of smoke from those on the balcony is a nuisance one shouldn't have to endure without choice.
Overall, a return will not happen anytime soon, and neither will I recommend anyone to go, unless they actually want a cafe that serves lobster and steaks.
It looks high class, charges med - high, the result is high end street food.
Such a shame.
