My wife and I loved to try omakase once a while even though it was pricey. This time round she suggested UO n as it was quite popular in Wanchai area. It was located at The Hennessy, beside the petrol station near Wanchai MTR.For their dinner, they offered omakase set, dinner for 2 as well as ala carte menu. Once we have ordered, the waiter served us a small glass of apple juice with sake to clear our palate. It was refreshing and sweet, with slight apple taste.

Soon they served us a pot of sakura tea. It was clear and sweet, with strong fragrant smell. It goes along well with the food that we have eaten.

煙燻蛋,鵪鶉腿 - Quail leg was juicy and tender, and quail egg was smooth and chewy too.

Avocado tartar - It was very creamy and smooth, with strong wasabi taste in it. There were tamago, tuna and octopus sashimi in it, making it chewy.

Salted water with seaweed - Seaweed was chewy, and water was clear and slight salty, making it refreshing and help to clear away the after-taste of avocado tartar.

Sashimi platter - It was presented nicely, with 5 sashimi and fish roe in it. Homemade sauce was provided to enhance the taste, making it flavourful. Fish roe was smooth, very flavourful and salty. 黑目納,醋青魚,金線雕,呑拿魚 and 章紅魚 was fresh and chewy, able to taste the freshness.

Lamb soup - The process of making the soup was quite interesting, with the soup flowing from the bottom to the top, mixing with the flower at the top, and flowing back to the bottom. Soup was very fragrant and refreshing, and lamb was very tender and smooth.

A piece of cracker paper was used to wrap the beef patty, and the paper was very crispy and thin, and beef patty was tender and juicy.

Vegetables with lean pork meat - Pork meat was thin in texture and was chewy and soft, and the gravy was very flavourful and tasty. Sliced vegetables was crunchy and juicy as well.

Pineapple sorbet - It was provided to clear our palate before having our sushi. It was icy and sour, with pineapple meat in it.

Sea urchin sushi - Crispy bean roll was used to wrap the sea urchin sushi, making it very crispy and flavourful. Sea urchin was soft and smooth too.

Crab paste with fried ebi - The presentation was very cute, with crab paste designed in the shape of mini toothpaste. Crab paste was squeezed to place it on top of fried ebi, and was very crispy and chewy.

Salted fish and cabbage sushi - It was crunchy and flavourful, and tofu sauce helping to enhance the taste.

Foie gras was placed on top of cracker biscuit, and yuzu sauce was provided to compliment the taste. It was crispy and soft, with the foie gras making it flavourful.

Tuna sushi roll - Sushi roll was chewy and soft, and tuna was creamy and smooth too. Spicy sauce was provided to dip onto it.

Eel sushi was skewed till soft and smooth, juicy as well.

Collagen was very soft and smooth, creamy as well. It was a very interesting dessert.
