This is my first visit to the Famous Tai Wo Tang coffee shop. This was the location of the former Tai Wo Tang, a traditional Chinese pharmacy established in 1932. We ordered a Tai Wo Tang Latte (hot) with almond milk. It had hints of earl grey and honey and it was delicious. I recommend coffee lovers to try. The late art wasn’t very define as I had ordered it with almond milk which is a bit thinner than regular milk or oat milk thus making it more difficult to make latte art. For food, we ordere

For food, we ordered an Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. That was really good and we didn’t have that bloated feeling after finishing it.
We also ordered a Yellow and Red Beetroot Halloumi Salad. According to the menu it was supposed to also have rocket leafs in it. We didn’t realize until after we had finished it. So that was a disappointment. How do you forget to add some of the ingredients into your dishes? This amazes me. We told the staff and they were like “oh yah sorry, the kitchen said they forgot to add it in. “ so this is where I would take points off. Points off for the kitchen being careless and inexperienced customer service.
The environment is nice. It’s a good location for pics and very hipster.
