My friends and I had a dinner in this popular mid-range Chinese restaurant. We ordered a set menu for four persons and the set included:Two assortments of barbecued specialties: They were BBQ pork and Soy sauce Chicken that night. The BBQ pork was good, I guessed unlike Maxim MX, they used the pork collar butt, so the meat was tender, and with a little bit of fat, that make the meat even juicier and more flavory. The chicken was perfectly cooked; even the chicken breast was not dry.
The sautéed shrimps and chicken with mushrooms was alright. The sauce tasted a little bit like a mixture of black bean garlic sauce and oyster sauce.
We could not tell what kind of vegetable they used for the vegetable and assorted seafood puree. The puree did not have much flavor.Steamed Sabah garoupa was good. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. I could still taste the sweetness of the fish.
Poached vegetable with bean curb sheet in conpoy soup was okay, I did not have much comment as it was nothing special about this.
