Did you guys notice there's a lot of Taiwanese restaurants and bubble/fruit tea opening up in recent months? Well, I love Taiwanese food so it's fine with me and I'll try to spare time to try out these places. The restaurant not very spacious but the decor is nice (comfortable and chilling). The restaurant not very spacious but the decor is nice (comfortable and chilling). Tables and seats are very close to each other. Seats at the end...you are basically leaning onto another customer. Some of the Taiwanese staff can speak Cantonese.
Looking at the menu, it's difficult to decide what to order. Menu covers starters, noodles soup, rice, sides, soup, rice noodles, dry noodles, marinated dishes and dessert. I'm trying to cut down eating beef but there're several cuisines I cannot stop my temptation and Taiwanese beef noodles is one of them.
Chilled Eggplant Salad $28
The taste is quite special, unlike typical Hong Kong restaurant eggplant. It is sweet and sour sauce.

The braised beef is thick and tender; literally melted in your mouth. Strong beef flavor and meat is juicy. Color of the soup looks dark but it is not salty at all....it is heavy flavored with beef. The radish is very delicious. Soft and soaked with the beef soup flavor. The tint of spicy adds more flavor to the noodles. Noodles is a little under done which thick which feels chewy.
Overall, the food taste nice but it feels so cramped sitting in here. I will not come back again. Taste of food is very important but so is seating too. The restaurant is trying to use every inch of it. In terms of business, yes it is important to use every inch of the place so they can earn more. But as a customer, the food is not superb for me to come back so I may spend my money elsewhere for better seating whilst the food is good too.
