Came to this restaurant with a good friend for a light dinner. We ordered beef sashimi, shrimp salad and an japanese meatball. Of cause, a nice catch up needed a good saki too.The beef sashimi lived up to the name Wagyu. It was fresh. The fat are well balance in the meat. Must try for your first visit.The shrimp salad was so so. Blanched shrimp served with mixed lettuces. The shrimp was alright, but tasteless. The Japanese meatball was great. Again, it was all about the beef. Similar to italian meatball, but bigger in size and less sauce.
The best part of the evening was chilling outside their patio with ice cold saki. The selection of saki they carry are average. No surprise or unexpected good find. But the environment made the evening perfect for catching up with old friend.
