We ordered NZ steak (7 oz) and egg from the brunch menu. The grilled steak is large. Quality and taste is good. The fries are delicious. The set includes a regular tea/coffee/juice. Sweet sour pineapple juice is appetising.
The a la carte menu offers a lot of good choices. We ordered an ultimate beef burger, a catch of the day (fish) and US baby back ribs.
Ultimate beef burger with prime beef, fresh salad, grilled cheese, bacon and egg is satisfying. The beef patty is of good quality and texture, juicy but not fat. The potato wedges are tasty.
Catch of the day is snapper. This freshly prepared seasonal fish with vegetables on the side is fresh and tastier than expected.
US baby back ribs is generous in portion. The racks with BBQ sauce are tender and rich in taste. It is best to enjoy them with a beer.
Desserts and strawberry smoothie are nice, too. We enjoy apple crumble and homemade carrot cake very much. The apple crumble with warm sour sweet apples and strawberry ice cream offer good flavour. Homemade carrot cake is delicious but not too sweet.
