Post-6-p.m. dinner ban would be imposed soon. It was my last dining out dinner before then. To make it such an important meal, we decided to go for a seafood meal at Mr. Crab by The Captain's House in Wan Chai. There were three types of seafood boils platter at three prices of $398, $568 and $858 +10% with 3, 5 and 8 types of seafood included respectively. There were many different types of seafood to choose from, including scallops, snow crab leg, abalones, crayfish, prawn, mussels, baby octopus, clams, sea whelk, cuttlefish, Manila clam, Live Boston Lobster, Live Brown Crab, Dungeness Crab and Alaska Crab Leg. You could choose Mr. Crab Cajun Sauce of different levels of spicyness, lemon pepper sauce, lemon dill cream sauce or seasonal sauce to go with the seafood. The choices of seafood and sauces were a bit different from those in the TST branch.

We chose the cheapest seafood platter. The server tried to mix the seafood well with the sauce inside the bag, before opening the bag in front of us for us to enjoy our seafood.

As we were quite hungry, we picked the kind of seafoods of the biggest portion. There were 8 to 10 clams with shells, 8 to 10 prawns with shells and 10 baby octopuses. I was especially impressed by the baby octopuses which were quite elastic and good to chew. The shells of the prawns were so soft that I found them edible. Other accompanying sides included two sweet corns, two potatoes and seemingly half a pork sausage cut into small pieces. We chose Mr Crab Cajun Sauce of mild spicy level. You could choose medium or even hot level! It was really quite spicy but was appetising. The sauce seemed to be made of crushed onions and garlic with chilli sauce. All the food items tasted pretty good in this sauce.
In addition to the must-order Seafood Boils Platter, we also ordered an appetiser and a pasta to share.

There were 5 big pieces of wings with still slightly crispy crust despite the loads of buffalo sauce on them. The buffalo sauce was sweet and sour which was very delicious. There was a separate mini bowl of blue cheese dip which was so creamy and rich. It was way more than sufficient for the 4 thin celery sticks. I wish there were fries for me to dip into haha.

The fettuccine was quite al dente and pretty smooth. The cream sauce was super outstanding as it was very smooth and creamy, and smelt super rich of black truffle. The sauce made the pasta very yummy. I particularly liked how they added loads of sliced mushrooms to add texture. There were 6 prawns and greens surrounding the pasta. Black truffle and pasta lovers would love this dish.
We decided to order two mocktails from their drink menu. For mocktails, they had frozen mocktails and finest selections.

It was such a snowy drink with a lot of lychee crushed ices. It was mostly lychee syrup with a piece of fresh lychee yet not overly sweet. Great to relieve the thirst from the spicy seafood.

It was mostly grape juice with a lot of fresh apple and orange cubes. The juice was very natural and not overly sweet.
Environment was quite decent with private and comfortable cart seats separated from each other. Service was efficient and attentive with provision of disposable apron, gloves and wet wipes for use. We saw many other eaters ordering their Seafood Boils Platter and some ordered a lot of crabs! Happy to find another place to eat seafood bag on HK Island!
