I must confess, I am here because of the #masterchef Alvin. Long been a big fan of Alvin, and never been able to afford #boinnovation, I thought I would try this store to get a taste of what's behind the mastermind. The store has a hilarious name, forbidden duck sounds like a entertainment-dancer name (cuz I'm pervy) but jokes aside, I am truly impressed by the lunch menu.The peiking duck is of course the star of the day. The peiking duck is of course the star of the day. It's shinny like a star, and the juice is just impeccable. Slow cook or not, the duck here is fantastic.

My second favorite is the rice crispy in duck soup, the crackling rice crispy doesn't taste as heavy as I would imagine. It's light and flavorful.

Dim sum here lives to the standard, and maybe because the price is slightly more premium, the place is not too budy. A good place to bring your business partners, or just in case you have an auntie to impress. (seems like my situation all the time lately)
