Spaces is very limited in the cafe, don’t be alarmed if you will be waiting a while for a seat. Decided to go early for brunch around 11AM. So there’s no waiting around. Very normal cuppa sized coffee, no complaints there. Ordered a Hong Kong, the staff looked at me as if I was slightly insane (yes, it was 11AM) wanting to try the Asian take on scotch egg (runny yolk) made with spam, charred a little after it’s been halved. Pearl rice served at the bottom, topped with green onions, sliced pickle

Ordered a Hong Kong, the staff looked at me as if I was slightly insane (yes, it was 11AM) wanting to try the Asian take on scotch egg (runny yolk) made with spam, charred a little after it’s been halved. Pearl rice served at the bottom, topped with green onions, sliced pickled white radish, slaw without mayo (I really liked that), shame the cooked Kai Lan (broccoli family) was a bit too oily. Despite that, I would recommend this and go back for it. It was a filling and satisfying dish, no wonder the waiter seemed worried I wouldn’t finished it either.
