My friend and I didn’t plan to visit 九湯屋 for dinner at first, but the restaurant we intended to go was quite full and there were seats at 九湯屋, so we changed our minds and tried 九湯屋 out. The price is quite cheap compared to most of the ramen restaurants in Hong Kong. For HKD$52 you get this bowl of spicy ramen with pork belly, seaweed and half an onsen egg. Not a bad deal. Some of the ramen even cost less than HKD$50, especially those non-spicy ones.The toppings are delicious. Pork belly is meaty

The price is quite cheap compared to most of the ramen restaurants in Hong Kong. For HKD$52 you get this bowl of spicy ramen with pork belly, seaweed and half an onsen egg. Not a bad deal. Some of the ramen even cost less than HKD$50, especially those non-spicy ones.
The toppings are delicious. Pork belly is meaty. And we love the onsen egg dearly as it is so runny! As for the ramen, it’s just so so. Portion is small, and the texture is a bit weird, more like Chinese style noodles instead of ramen.
Sometimes I guess the price tells you a bit about the quality of food.
