This place is like a cafe style restaurant serving Korean fusion style food. The setting arrangement and decorations is like that of a cafe. The menu is very comprehensive, they have Korean style snacks, pizzas, rice & soup meals, burgers, pizzas and fried chicken. We ended up ordering from the snacks selection, the Korean Beef Gimbap ($55) and Fish Cake Soup ($42). The menu is very comprehensive, they have Korean style snacks, pizzas, rice & soup meals, burgers, pizzas and fried chicken. We ended up ordering from the snacks selection, the Korean Beef Gimbap ($55) and Fish Cake Soup ($42). The mains we chose the Kimchi Carbonara Pasta ($72), the Honey Garlic Fried Chicken - 6 pieces ($98) and the Kimchi Seafood Tofu Stew ($78). For the pasta and rice dishes they come with beverages and we chose a Hot Lemon Water and an Iced Lemon Tea (+$3 cold).
We were given Kimchi side dishes, the Kimchi was cool, refreshing and spicy 🌶. The Kimchi Carbonara Pasta arrived first, it was rich and creamy with a hint of Kimchi flavor, it wasn’t spicy and had bacon, cheese and Kimchi. The spaghetti wasn’t Al Dente, yet it wasn’t overcooked. The Honey Garlic Fried Chicken arrived next, this dish was very surprising, the chicken was perfectly fried and still crispy even after drizzling the Honey Garlic sauce over it, inside the chicken was juicy and tender. The honey garlic sauce was delicious and complimented the fried chicken perfectly.
The Fish Cake Soup came and was beautifully presented, we suspect the fish cake and fish balls were probably frozen Korean products you can buy at any supermarket, it was ok nothing special.
The Korean Beef Gimbap came next. It was again ok and nothing special, they did provide some sesame oil for dipping to elevate the flavor. The side salad with corn and dressing was fresh and tasty.
The Kimchi Seafood Tofu Stew was the last dish to arrive and came with rice. It was packed full of kimchi, mussels, calamari, tofu, imitation crab sticks, shrimps and calms. It was spicy, but the seafood broth didn’t have any seafood flavor.
The service is efficient and they topped up our waters when requested and cleared our plates when finished.
