I was in TST East around lunch time Wednesday, and decided to try Fujiyama 55 as it's been in business for a few years, and I haven't had a chance to try it out.  It was the first time I had the Tsukemen, where the ramen is served separate from the soup.  I ordered the extra pork flavor dipping and regular (as in tenderness) cook noodle.  After having a few bite of it, I thought I almost felt in love with it.  Most of the time, I found the cold noodles didn't have enough flavour, but dipping it

I ordered the extra pork flavor dipping and regular (as in tenderness) cook noodle.  After having a few bite of it, I thought I almost felt in love with it.  Most of the time, I found the cold noodles didn't have enough flavour, but dipping it into the semi-hot broth was a nice complement.  So it's perfect to eat Tsukemen in hot summer as it's cooler than your regular styled ramen, and the ramen contained just enough flavor from the dipping.  The pork slices are tender, however, the egg is not fully cooked, which I preferred it a little bit more runny anyway.  The noodle I ordered was the regular cook version, and I thought it's a bit chewy for me, so I guess I would order the softer version next time.  I went with several friends, and their impressions were also similar to mine, we will definately try it again if we are in the area nearby.
