Every Sunday is like a restaurant hunting day for me and my friend. This time my friend was craving for local food. But I’m not really into Chinese food or local food as I find the taste of the herbs too strong for me. That’s why I was a bit hesitant when my friend invited me to come to Cornucopia in Cubus. My friend said that she would order for me as she knows what is a light dose of herbs. I was just planning to eat a little and eat somewhere else afterward. She ordered few dishes to be sha
Sautéed Prawn with Salty Egg Yolk- the presentation didn’t give any justice of its taste. The salty taste and crispiness on the outside made it more interesting to explore what’s the taste on the inside. The prawn was juicy and the freshness remained.
Boneless Pork Belly Ribs in Strawberry Sauce- the flavour combination brought out the delightful taste of Pork Belly. The presentation was great.
Stewed Chicken with Hua Diao Wine - the taste of this dish is remarkable for me. I had this dish before but this is better. It has that great taste keeps lingering in my mouth. The combination of Chicken and Hua Diao Wine made it tastier. I smelled the intense aroma that increased my appetite, but the presentation needs a bit of improvement.
I really like it. It gave me a new perspective on Chinese food/ local food. And didn’t go somewhere else to eat again because it made me full. Would love to come again.
