This was an exceptional dining experience at this Japanese restaurant. We stumble across this Japanese restaurant after one long day work, and decided to book for a session for two at pass Saturday. Come second was this slow bake apple abalone with seaweed based sauces. First bite was the sweetness from apple. The abalone itself was cover in egg mayonnaise so it was tender and flavourful.

After was a slightly fresher taste was the steam based grouper. Dips it with the plum sauce to increase the flavour.

Right after was the slow cook A4 wagyu, chef use the whole cut to keep the tenderness and juicy. After it cook till around medium, they slide into it and you can still see the juice from the meats.

This matsuba crab must be my one of the favour. Chef put all the meat in the shell and deep fried it, it won’t taste over done. And it still keep the sweetness from the crab.

After finish all meal course, chef will start preparing for the most exciting session, sushi time.

We start off with some fresh squid base with lime juice, it was sweet and tender. Next was, pagus major was sweet and the texture was different. Chef will play around the natural of the shashimi and mixed with different sauce to stipulate our taste bud. The big Japanese king prawn was impressive, it was tender and sweet. It was all about how fresh the food was, all you can taste was the sweetness from the ingredients. In between sushi session, there was one particular sushi really caught my attentions, it was wild caught huge toro. The marble oil was just like a piece of wagyu and the taste was absolutely amazing. I will visit for this piece of art alone.

We end it with a delight dessert, which is black sesame ice cream and strawberries. It serve under a cookie based, so you could flatten the whole ice cream and eat it like an ice cream sandwich.

The overall dining experience was excellent. The staff was very professional, they really understood the ways that chef prepare the food.
