I was told that Tim Ho Wan is a must try for tourists much like myself. So I decided to go around noon on Sunday. I was warned about the wait, but I decided to go anyways. Surprisingly, I only waited for 30 minutes or so.Tim Ho Wan owns the title of being the cheapest Michelin star restaurant in the world. It’s true… I ordered 8 dishes and paid 20 USD. Tim Ho Wan owns the title of being the cheapest Michelin star restaurant in the world. It’s true… I ordered 8 dishes and paid 20 USD. You can’t ask for a better price than that. If you don’t mind the wait, it’s a great place to eat. Not just for tourists… The congee to me was the most memorable as I am not a fan of their signature dishes, such as the pineapple bun and vermicelli roll. It was not too thick and not to watery. Unlike other places in HK, the congee was also not doused with msg.
