The recently opened Let’s Pot 🍲 in Wan Chai is backed by famous catering consultant Marissa👩🏻🍳. All the soup bases 🥣 are specially designed and developed with no MSG added. Some interesting soups include the Tom Yum Gong 🌶 Lobster 🦞 Soup, Lemongrass Sake 🍶 Boiled Clam Soup, and the healthy Chicken Soup 🐓 with Coconut and Fish Maw (HK$328). The Antrodia camphorata bitter gourd pork ribs soup (HK$198) is very special, but quite healthy using the Taiwanese 🇹🇼 national treasure Antrodia camphorata
If you like fish soup, don't miss the original Sabah pickled cabbage fish soup🐟.
In terms of ingredients, the meat from castrated cattle 🥩is highly recommended. The fat of the meat has a unique texture as fine as snowflakes. Its meat and fat ratio is the best. Such an expensive and unique gelding cattle can only be supplied in limited quantities every day. If you want to taste the uniqueness of the beef at one time, you must try the beef platter, which is complete with different parts of beef including, belly and neck ridge🥩.
The hand-made dumplings are also good. The dumpling skin is specially made by a local flour and noodle factory to make the skin thin and tender with the best golden ratio. Among the six types of dumplings, I especially recommend the minced meat dumplings with southeast Asian flavours.
There are also resident DJs playing discs, and a variety of cocktail available. “G&C” is especially recommended, with butterfly pea flower and gin wine. Infused with fresh chrysanthemum tea🫖, the taste is natural, and tangerine peel is specially added. “Let’s Pot” is mainly based with passion fruit and pineapple.
