When we first arrived they asked how many people eating and I said, “2. Me and my 2 year old daughter.” Everyone stared at me like i brought a disease with me. I have a pushchair with me and they were probably inexperienced with children. I understand they don’t have a high chair since we are in Sheung Wan, but they don’t have to stare at us. Everyone stared at me like i brought a disease with me. I have a pushchair with me and they were probably inexperienced with children. I understand they don’t have a high chair since we are in Sheung Wan, but they don’t have to stare at us. All the staff was literally staring at us which made me ask them, “ Are we allowed to eat here?”
I was hungry and my kid is too so I just thought we’ll just order, eat then leave.
The menu was boring. They don’t even have nice sushi for lunch. We ordered eel rice set which was very very salty.
We also ordered plain udon fpr my daughter which also came with a lot of questioning looks.
I also took out an apple for my daughter while waiting and got told off rudely, “No outside food allowed.” It is a food for a kid. We’ve been to a lot of restaurants together and I always bring her food with me and we never get told not to take it out. This was the most horrible experience I’ve had.
We have also been to their Branch in Aberdeen and it was fantastic. Only this on in Sheung Wan has bad service and attitude.
We won’t come back ever again.
