Commissary really has the right vibe for us. The menu is pretty American in style, but with Mexican and some Asian touches. We enjoyed the food and the service. Happy hour goes on till 8pm, and you have a nice little pastries/ dessert bar at the counter to tempt you. On a lazy weekend morning, this is a cozy spot for brunch and coffee, too. Not a huge portion (guys watch out) but the steak was very tender and excellent value for money.

My favorite. I like the guacamole, crab and salmon roe. It’d be great if I could see more dark greens like baby spinach in my bowl, but I’m happy enough to munch on crispy lettuce and tortilla strips while scooping up guacamole and crab.

Not like in the states where milkshakes are almost as heavy as melted ice cream—which was a good thing for our health’s sake.
