When I first saw their map, I wasn't too sure exactly which street I should go to for the noodle place. It was actually hidden in an alley behind 王記糖水. Luckily, they have display a big sign on the street to give us directions ... otherwise we will need to waste a few more minutes to find the place. I thought this noodle will not be available since they say limit to 10 bowls per day. I'm not sure if I was lucky, or the noodle is not too popular, or that they are just saying "10 bowls" to make it seem more special and limited and people will be willing to pay more for it. I was a bit hesitant to order, as it seems more pricey than the other noodles ..... but at least when it came, it got an extra egg (half cooked) .... so seems better value. I've never tasted 牛胸腩 before, it's okay for me, since I tend to like "breast area" for chicken/turkey ..... so it's pretty much the same rough texture. However, it's slightly TOO chewy ..... doesn't stick to teeth .... but may not be everyone's favorite.
As for their lamb noodle, very good 羊肉 flavour. For both noodles, they used beef stew, so very strong and delicious taste.
The onion cake was slightly disappointing. It's not oily .... but it's too dry and light flavouring. Some improvements are needed!
