Pirata is always my to-go place for weekday casual lunch. Before the pandemic, they serve semi buffet with free-flow cold cut and small bites. And now, they serve decent 3-course menu with cold cut platter🧀 and bread basket🥖 I just love it even more❤️𝑻𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒅𝒊 𝑻𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒐First time trying their beef tartare and it is amazingly well executed. Their bread 🍞 quality raises a lot this time with three kinds of pastries👍🏼 The best one is puffy twist. It has very nice texture that the buttery bomb 🧈 explodes when the twist breaks in your month. Just feel happy of them for such a huge improvement even when the business is so difficult. The sourdough is not bad but it needs some more days for growing💪🏼

An always promising dish here. A dish combining beef and fish is just so smart and you will always be amazed by how great the two compliment each other 😋 The veal is very tender with a smokey profile. Eating it with the tuna sauce is just doubling the umami 🤩
𝑷𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒐 𝑹𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒊
Ravioli is argubly one of my favourites among pasta with its enormous possibility that chef could always find way to amaze you. This is kind of a classic ones with pecorino x lemon zest. But the execution is flawless💯 The melty core has great flavour while the pasta is al dente. Every bite is an enjoyment! The lemon zest 🍋 could also balance the cheese and let you finish 7 pieces easily.
𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒄 𝑳𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒈𝒏𝒂 𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒂 𝑩𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒆
This is the home-style Italian mom food aka comfort food in another name😂 The taste is as good as you can imagine. I love the crispy edge with extra chew but the core layers could better if it is less moist and soft. But it still manages to make me feel home🏠 on a workday afternoon.

Last but not least is of course the dessert, and again of course the tiramisu. I know many people love the one in Pici and Pizza Project. Then come on, how can you not eating at Pirata?! Eating an entire cup just for oneself is like finding back the happiness being a child again🥰
